De Herdt Gardens is an absolute gem.

The flowers here are amazing and the prices are great. There is an excellent selection and the staff seem really friendly and helpful.

While I did not purchase any flowers or garden supplies, I did stop in to enjoy their bakery and cafe. It was incredible! The coffee is of excellent quality, as are the baked goods. Everything looked incredible and it was hard to select just one item to try. I’ll have to come back again to try something new.

You would never expect to find a place like this in a small Alberta town, but it is well worth the drive from Edmonton.

Stopped in here for a latte on my way through town and I had no idea what I was in for. Fresh Baking, incredible service, and an unbelievable atmosphere. This place is the diamond in the rough of Barrhead. You must stop in here.

OH MY GOD ITS AMAZING

I’m from Edmonton and because of this place I’m like, “can I move to Barrhead?” Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food at the attached cafe! This place is heaven. Order food and eat it at the tables in the greenhouse.

Also kid friendly with a beautiful play area. Great meeting place for friends or to enjoy alone.

A very quaint little place, so many things to look at and buy. Their garden centre has a beautiful display of cacti and many unique containers. We had their panini lunch special and everything was made right there so very fresh and delicious. Coffee really good too, definitely worth the trip for something unique. Only thing to be aware of before you go is when you decide to buy from them, you can’t use a credit card unless your purchase is over $50.00

This place is incredible. The staff are kind pleasant knowledgeable, and really helpful. Their desserts are amazing. They have a wide selection of all kinds of plants and flowers. It’s a lovely place to go. If you’re feeling low, need seeds, or need to add something beautiful to your home or garden. they also have a lovely selection of drinks and things to eat And lovely scenery and places to sit while you enjoy your items definitely recommend this place. I go here all the time. The owners are also very lovely people and more than willing to help in anyway they can.

This place is absolutely worth every kilometer you’ve got to travel to get here, even with the price of gas these days! 😉

We stopped by just by chance and although I do love all greenhouses, this one has to be my favorite! There’s a bakery section (my kids bought cookies and said they were delicious) and a coffee bar, and a couple of different seating areas. We didn’t stop for coffee, but I will be next time for sure.

I found their plant selection to be incredible , way more than your run of the mill petunias and pansies (although they have these too).

Excellent greenhouse. Reasonable prices. The quality of plants here are amazing. The atmosphere of being able to enjoy a nice coffee and baked treat at a quiet seating area in the green house is awesome. This place is worth the visit.

One if my favorite greenhouses. We drive from Edmonton to come out here. Not only do they offer a great selection of plants and all things garden. But they have an absolutely great coffee house and bakery! A great way to spend your day and have a coffee or a great place to come shopping. If you haven't been I suggest making the drive .
