J'ai passé deux semaines dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est sympathjique les chambres très spacieuse et le petit déjeuner assez varié. J'apprécie particulièrement leur oeuf bénédicte.||La salle de gym est petite ce qui est un peu dommage en revanche il y a un parking chauffé ce qui est pratique quand il fait moins 30 dehors...

Stationnement intérieur chauffé (très pratique l’hiver à moins 20). Lobby avec une superbe aquarium. Bon petit Resto pour déjeuner. Sinon chambre ok et propre. Salle de bain un peu vieillot mais bien. Le personnel poli et disponible. J’y retournerais en particulier l’hiver.

Accueil très chaleureux et agréable. Service de chambres avec petites notes, chocolat et croustilles et incluant café the et bouteille d'eau. Bémol, carpette tachée décor des années 80 malgré un "home staging" récent.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a work trip to Edmonton, after not visiting for some time, and was initially pleased to see a rate of $199 per night, as it was more economical than I expected. Unfortunately, my experience quickly revealed why this rate may have been offered.

Firstly, I was surprised by the introduction of a $10 per night parking fee, which was not previously charged, despite the abundance of parking spaces available. Upon arriving at my room, I found it uncomfortably hot. The new thermostat system did not seem to function properly, as the temperature remained unchanged no matter what adjustments I made, resulting in three nights of restless, overheated sleep. Additionally, the windows were sealed shut, making it impossible to get any relief.

My initial use of the bathroom revealed that the Kleenex box was empty, and there was no replacement available in the room. More concerningly, the tub had strands of hair left behind, which I found unsettling and had to wash away myself.

The next day, I returned to the hotel around 4 PM to find that my room had not been cleaned, despite informing the cleaner in the hallway that morning. When I contacted the front desk, I was informed that housekeeping had already left for the day, but they could bring me fresh towels and coffee. Although the room was cleaned the following day, it was clear that the floor had not been vacuumed—evidenced by some children’s snacks near the chair that were present upon my check-in and remained there after the cleaning.

Overall, this stay fell significantly below expectations, and I cannot recommend this hotel any longer. There are many other accommodations just a bit further south along Gateway that offer a far better experience, often with breakfast included.
