I’ve visited this restaurant a couple of times, and unfortunately, both experiences were far from pleasant. The service was incredibly slow on my first visit, I waited 45 minutes just for my drinks to arrive, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. When the food finally came, it was served cold, which was a huge letdown. Given that the place wasn’t crowded, I don’t understand why the service was so poor. I was really hoping for a better experience, but after these issues, I’m seriously considering not coming back.

To make matters worse, the lady server (with the black long hair) was flirting with my date during our first visit, which made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. It wasn’t professional at all, and it added a layer of awkwardness to an already disappointing experience. On my second visit, I thought I’d give it another shot, but the shisha was a huge letdown it tasted more like just water, with no real flavour at all. If there is lower than zero (0/10) I would have rated this location since it was really bad experience.

Overall, I really hope the restaurant works on improving its customer service, because as it stands, it’s just not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other places that offer better food and service, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I would share the zero star if there was the option! Service was awful ! They don’t serve pizza and burger though is in the menu since there oven doesn’t work !!! Dirty desks and table ! Awful service ! They brought me a cocktail which a five year old child can make it better ! The ceaser salad 🤮they have had never eaten such a disgusting salad ! The sauce was sour 😳 taste like rotten oil! Overall it was awful I will never ever go there again!

Great atmosphere and food was delicious! Sliders and fries were super fresh. Excellent customer service from Sara who went above and beyond for my friends who tried hookah for their first time. Will gladly return 🙂

Came to Diyako for the first time to celebrate my birthday and have a drink and Shisha with some friends. Our server Moral was very kind and made me feel special for my birthday with cake for me and birthday music! Will definitely come back in the future. Very happy Richmond Hill “Downtown” has this hidden gem!

Diako Lounge offers the convenience of ample free parking. We ordered hummus, mini hamburgers, baklava, and sweet fried potatoes. The food was enjoyable, and the establishment was clean and well-organized. The staff was welcoming and friendly, although there was an issue with the kitchen smell permeating the restaurant, which was a bit unpleasant. Additionally, the table buzzer was not functioning, leading to a 15-minute wait for the bill. In the end, we had to go to the cashier to settle it. While the prices were reasonable, the overall atmosphere might not be the best fit for a lounge area.

With a few enhancements to the dishes, it could truly stand out as a top dining spot. Overall, it’s a nice place to relax, and I would recommend it for a laid-back evening.”

I’ve visited this restaurant twice .
A man was in charge of the shisha section, and he was truly polite, respectful, and attentive. The service and the shisha itself were both very good, which we appreciated .

However, a lady brought part of our order and unfortunately had a rude tone and showed no sense of customer service. One of the items we ordered was fries, which were completely burnt. When we pointed this out, she initially refused to acknowledge the issue. Later, she returned with the same fries only the top burnt pieces had been removed , and the portion was noticeably smaller.

The fries smelled strongly of burnt oil, and each of us only managed to eat one before leaving the rest. The experience with her was disappointing and felt unprofessional.

Overall, my friends and I did not have a pleasant experience at this restaurant, and we won’t be returning.
