Petite boutique avec la meilleure odeur. Ça sent bon et ça goute bon. Pourquoi je mets 2 étoiles alors? Service carrément exécrable! Le gars derrière le comptoir on le dérangeait carrément, il était très occupé à installer un jeu sur sa tablette. Il était agressif, voulait se débarrasser de nous, je crois on l’a dérangé dans son break de cigarettes. Service 3 zéro sur 5. La famille a voté ce magasin pire truc de toute nos vacances, même les enfants s’en sont rendu compte! 2 étoile juste par que le poisson était bon. Visité le 12 juillet 2022

Wow.. got the smoked salmon. Not at all fishy, well smoked meat. Not super salty, just right. Kids loved it!! Delicious!!

The person selling was helpful and gave me a sample before I bought it. Shared his life story and showed me a picture of his grandfather catching a massive salmon... pretty cool.

I’ve never had a more uncomfortable experience and I hope it’s not normal of this place.

I was so excited to get some smoked fish, and walked in and said “how’s it going boss?” The guy at the counter got offended and wouldn’t let it go. I didn’t mean it in a derogatory term, but instead was trying to be friendly.

He kept asking me why I said it, and this went on for a few minutes. I told him I meant that he was the man because I was excited for the salmon.

You could tell there was something more going on here, as his previous encounters were also super awkward.

Regardless of his situation, this guy should not be working here and dealing with customers.

I absolutely loved the smoked salmon, and highly recommend it. If someone else was serving me I’m sure I would have had a more positive experience.

Best smoked salmon my family ever had. High quality at a reasonable price. The lady at the counter was very helpful who helpful and friendly. We spent about $100 yesterday and it was worth every penny ($13 per 100 gram which is much cheaper than those low quality jerk salmon bags from the nearby Co Op selling at over $18 per 100 gram equivalent).

We will retun to the store to buy more before heading back home

I had amazing service everywhere in Tofino but here. There was one man inside the shop
and he wouldn’t even put down his tablet when we asked him questions about the smoked fish and his recommendation. It felt like he didn’t want customers to buy stuff. Then when I went to pay, I held up my credit card so that he knew my method of payment. He didn’t tell me my total but just told me to tap to pay. When I left, I looked at the receipt and noticed HE GAVE HIMSELF a 10% tip. Tip for what? Answering 2 questions about the product? He clearly didn’t tell me my total out loud so he could sneak in the tip. It’s completely unethical and a shady way of doing business.

To add, the smoked salmon was just average. I tried 2 different flavours and they’re not bad, but nothing special. I do not recommend this shop.
