My husband discovered this cozy little book store and restaurant near Brantford. Since then we love going here for a coffee or just some brunch. They have great food and also has board games that you can enjoy. It also has a huge collection of books and paintings.

Best place to spend your winter morning with Maple Oat Latte and their tasty Vegan Chili soup and sandwich combo. Warm and cozy place to have your breakfast while reading some good books.

It was nice and cosy with friendly staff me delicious coffee. I had the salted caramel latte and loved it! They also have a good selection of books for sale, it's a cute bookstore cafe. My daughter could spend the whole day there .

Absolutely LOVE this place! Vibes are amazing, such a beautiful place to sit and have a chat with friends or relax with a coffee. The windows overlook the water & walls are lined with book cases with tons of book options to buy! They also have board games and cards to play with friends as well. The staff is always very friendly and quick! My favourites are the french toast croissant & turkey cheese croissant!

This might be my favourite coffee shop ever! The coffee is fabulous, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is adorable. So cute and cozy. I love that you can browse for books and I love the “no phones on speaker” rule. Also, if you are vegan, you have to try the chickpea sandwich!

I had an amazing experience at Dog Eared Cafe in Paris, Ontario. The food was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were incredible! We tried the peach lemonade and mocha cold latte, both of which were delightful. What makes this place extra special is its cozy, warm vibe, and the fact that it has a mini bookstore inside. If you're a book lover, you’ll fall in love with the relaxing atmosphere – it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a good book and great food. I wanted some good coffee and the only place we could find was this cafe. At the beginning I was hesitant to go there because of the name. I didn’t expect something good from cafe with ’dog’ word in its name. But I was wrong.
When we entered the place appeared to be bigger and nicer than the impression you get from the outside.
The guy who was serving was polite and welcoming.
I was impressed to see vegan pastries and ordered a few options to try.
Also this place where you can come and spend time with friends and family playing board games and reading. It’s also a book store. It reminds European cafe where nobody in a rush. I had a really good time there with my family. We were enjoying delicious coffee and vegan pastries and playing UNO.
Place is super busy all the time we were there.

Also has table for kids where they can draw with chalk. And ikea train track for little ones.
I felt at home in that place and highly recommend to attend it.

We visited from Toronto for the day and a shop owner from the vintage store, recommended this Cafe and we are so happy that she did. We loved it! It was so cute and we LOVED all of the books. I tried the vanilla tea and it was lovely!
