Motel un peu vieillot mais les chambres sont très confortable. Situé idéalement entre les plages et Tofino. Les hôtes vous accueil avec un sourire et une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Un très bon rapport qualité prix.

This was the perfect set up for my trip. Nice full sized fridge. Full kitchen so you don't have to worry about finding something to eat. The rooms themselves are older but they are cozy and quaint!

Can't believe I didn't write a review!! My partner, friend and I all stayed here in June of 2024. The owner is an amazingly friendly and accommodating person. The motel is very much a blast from the past as it's been here since I was a baby.

She worked with me when trying to start planning my trip as I was unsure if our friend was coming or not yet. Super accommodating once we confirmed. Cabins are kept clean and stocked with all the essentials.

Ours worked perfectly for us as we knew we would be spending a lot of time out and not needing a luxury experience. We came to surf and get Tuf city wild! 🤙

Highly recommend if you're looking for a quaint gem that is very reasonably priced! At this point with all other places becoming impossible to afford, I will always stay at the Dolphin! 🐬

Probably one of the worst beds Ive ever slept on the mattress was super hard and the pillows too. The room got so cold at night I woke up in the middle of the night freezing and a sore back. I had to put on sweat pants and a sweater. The tub had hair in it so I don't think it was cleaned before I got there. I read the reviews before coming and they all said it was good "enough" to sleep because who are we kidding coming to Tofino and staying in a room the whole time! Yeah right! But definitely was not worth it. The beds are super hard (the one I got- rm14) and had a horrible sleep the 2 nights I was here (june11-13). The last night was a bit better because I remembered how cold the room got and wore sweats and my sweater. So if you are staying here bring a foam or something to put on the mattress and blankets from home. There is an "extra" blanket but that is also super thin and not very warm. The blankets are thin so not much for covering with - like you're covering up with 2 sheets. The bed gets a 1 star but the room it self besides it being an older area and needing updates it was fine! But I will say that the cleaner refolded my dirty towels and put them back on the rack, which I thought was weird. How could you tell? I brought a white towel from home and used it to clean up a spill and hung it to dry and then when I came back my towel was gone so I just assumed they thought it was their's and I'd have to say goodbye to a towel, which no big deal but the next morning when I went to grab a towel I noticed the same dirty spots on it when I grab a "clean" towel from the rack. The walls are also very thin so you can hear everything. If the beds were a more comfortable I would totally recommend this place but because of the beds not worth the price tag to be honest.

It was such a pleasure to stay at the Dolphin Motel. The owners are friendly, kind, and generous, and they go above and beyond to make your stay feel special. They are truly the sweetest people, and chatting with them was a highlight of our trip.

The rooms were well-stocked, and housekeeping came in daily to restock essentials and tidy. The atmosphere felt like staying in a cozy family hunting cabin, which gave it a quaint, personal touch.

Our room included a kitchenette, and all the cookware we needed to prepare meals was provided. It was also a delight to have a full bathroom with a tub.

With the motel’s close proximity to Chesterman Beach, we were able to take surf lessons and rent surfboards with ease. Chocolate Tofino and Tacofino are also within a short walking distance. We may have indulged in gelato more than once simply due to its convenience (and quality).

With utmost sincerity, I can’t thank the Dolphin Motel for making our stay welcoming and comfortable. It was a true home away from home.

When we pulled off the main road into the parking area we weren't too sure what we'd let ourselves in for (having booked it months in advance from Australia). Appearances can be deceiving ! The older lady who greeted us was very pleasant (even though she was a little difficult to understand). We had a compact cabin which had a very comfortable sofa bed in the main room which also had a table, 4 chairs, sink, full sized stove and full sized fridge. Our friends had a separate, small bedroom with a comfy double bed. The bathroom was small but the shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. We got clean linen every day (without requesting it). Despite it's proximity to the main road it was reasonably quiet. We walked a short distance up the road towards town for coffee and pastries at the bakery and ice cream from the chocolatier. It was basic but well priced and comfortable.

For me, it needs work, very quiet 🤫 while I search for my dog. That I lost at Ocean Village Resort. Depends what you care about I suppose. For me it gives me a starting point in the search for my dog ZIGGY.
