The Dorset Lookout Tower is a fun place to visit if you love nature and beautiful views. Standing tall at 30 meters, the tower gives you an amazing view of the surrounding forests and lakes. Climbing 120 stairs to the top might be a little challenging for those who are afraid of hights, but it's worth it when you see the stunning scenery. On a clear day, you can see for miles and even spot some wildlife! There are also picnic areas nearby, where you can relax and enjoy a snack after your climb. Whether you're with family or friends, visiting the Dorset Lookout Tower is a great way to spend a day outdoors.

Really lovely place. Views are great. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There are 2 porta potties, one accessible for a wheelchair. Parking is right there so no long walks.

The tower gives you a great view of the town Dorset and you can see why it's a fire tower. When you finally reach the top you can see for a9me distance. That why it was used back in the day as a fire outlook so you knew wher the fires were burning. One issue I had is they have a spot to fill up your bottle with drinking water. And I seen people washing their sandles and hands when they have a sign that aa6s no washing hands. If you really feel the need to wash your sandles or hands they have taps on the side if the brown building.

A must when visiting Dorset. As a child I climbed this tower with no fear. Getting to the top for bravery purposes only. As an adult it’s all for the views. So beautiful!!

Walked up from road parking. $4 for my husband and I to do the tower and the full loop hike. It was a nice afternoon. Really cute store.

When you get there you have the options to either park at the lower parking and walk 800m up the road to the lookout and pay 2,45$ per person, or drive up the road and park at the upper parking and pay 11$ per vehicule. The stairs of the tower are very steap and narrow but the effort is rewarded with the amazing view of multiples lakes at the top. You also have the option to do a 3 kilometer loop hike after, but the trail is pretty technical and steap so proper footwear is recommended. End your visit at the small souvenir shop at the top
