Un restaurant familial juste à côté d'une station service et pourtant il y a tout : accueil, qualité des plats, un vrai café italien. Osez les pâtes elles sont faites maison. Commandez un hamburger et enfin on dirait qu'on mange de la vrai viande, sans sauce et sucre. Délicieux et sain. Moi j'ai voulu vérifier que la poutine était aussi bonne qu'au Québec et ... elle l'est ! Cette famille calabraise est là depuis la construction du chemin de fer ... et vous parlera avec amour de Terrace Bay et de la Calabre. Une halte vraiment sympa.

Drifters is "The GO too place" in Terrace Bay. I've heard others rant about the food fare at this local bar/restaurant and I confirm that the care put into food service is impeccable. The hamburgers are handmade and seasoned to a meat eaters delight. Mushrooms were juicy and cooked to a savory chew. Chicken fingers, wings and fries are also cooked to a tasty temperature. The staff and locals are friendly. The atmosphere is tavern-ish with a touch of catering class. A small patio is available for warmer weather. I haven't tried the entire menu but based on my experiences Drifters sailed it's way to 5 star rating hands down, thumbs up. 👍 👍 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Long wait to get seated, meals came quickly, except my wife ordered a hot turkey sandwich and got a hamburger sandwich. So her wait was extra long. She discounted it $3.50

Place was beautiful! Food was amazing and service very polite. Quick to get you your drinks, and complimentary bread with butter while you wait. Worth the time.

Stopped in on a cross country trip, pulled in by the replica lighthouse across the street. Service was attentive and friendly, I had the special which was a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich with the soup of the day, beef barley. Lots of soup in the portion, and it was hearty. Sandwich not too greasy, which was impressive given the ingredients. I asked for a window sear and was seated at a 6 top by myself despite there being other options.

After living in Terrace Bay for Nine years, I can always vouch for the food at Drifters. Whether it’s Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, I’ve always enjoyed my meals. The Restaurant is cozy and feels like home, the dim lighting and light fire is a great atmosphere to unwind after a long day, or to socialize with family and friends to catch up.
This was my first time spending a night in the motel and I’d like to draw attention to the suite for any families passing through. There was enough room to set up the pack and play next to the bed, and have a play area on the floor. The L-Shaped couch is super comfortable for relaxing and feeding with a view of the lighthouse and uptown Terrace Bay, the blinds are also within reach for privacy. The Jacuzzi Tub can comfortably fit two and is a nice touch to the room.
Service at drifters is always with a smile and great conversation. The Lobby always has hot coffee, a great selection of snacks and pre-made lunch options as well. The Lounge offers the same menu as the restaurant, and is a great area to gather with friends.
Great establishment and would definitely recommend!

Got the "Destroyer" burger! Was really good! Fries not too bad nothing special but ok.
I'll definitely be coming back to try another item on the menu!
