The Dvele Inn is probably one of the most beautiful places where I have ever stayed. The rooms are just stunningly decorated and every detail is thought of. The location is excellent, easily walkable to the downtown area. I absolutely loved it and would recommend to anyone!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dvele Inn in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and it was a truly amazing experience. The decor and design is absolutely stunning, reflecting the same beauty seen in the photos. Plus, each morning, we were treated to thoughtful breakfast baskets filled with delicious local treats, a wonderful way to start the day. Additionally, the inn's location is ideal, with several delightful cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. I can’t recommend Dvele Inn highly enough for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Our week at this beautiful character Inn was amazing. My husband and I arrived quite late, but Michelle and Simone made sure we had everything available for our arrival. Upon booking this stay I could not decide on which room to choose as each one has its own unique design and layout. For the first three nights we stayed in room #7 and the last four nights we stayed in room #6. Both were located on the top floor and very cozy, quiet and had all the amenities required for a relaxing stay.

Prior to arriving I had made arrangements to have some extras provided throughout our stay which included delicious cocktails prepared every evening and a charcuterie board with an excellent selection of meats and cheese made available for snacking, all left in our room fridge to enjoy on our own schedule. Breakfast baskets were a welcome touch left outside our door each morning. The location was perfect for walking to the downtown area to enjoy the restaurants, pubs and shops. The Dvele Team also provided a recommendation for a private tour guide which upon my request was setup for us. We need to give a five star shout-out to George’s Tours! George is an amazing person who, although not originally from Newfoundland, knows everything about this incredible place that he has come to love over the last decade.

We absolutely loved this charming historic Inn and highly recommend to anyone who looks for a relaxing high quality boutique hotel experience. You can tell the proprietor and management team care deeply about providing the best experience for each guest and this shows in every attention to detail. Well done and thank you!

My wife and I spent four days in St. John’s. Our room at Dvele (room 1) was home base. We arrived with no plan but to explore the city and walked everywhere. We could not have asked for a better spot.

The rooms were beautiful, the bed comfortable and the suggestions for exploring the city extremely helpful. Neither of us had been to St. John’s and the experience was a very good one!

I highly recommend a stay at Dvele to those who are thinking about it!

Dvele Inn is a special place. The design team knocked it out of the park with wall colors, fixtures, wallpaper and just special little touches that you would never find in a hotel chain. You are given the access code for the entry door and they leave the room key at the check-in table. There is no lift, so if you are staying on the second or third floors be aware that you have to lug your suitcase up a good amount of stairs, as it is a lovely old home with lots of steps! The breakfast box they leave outside your door each morning has lots of yummy treats to help you get fueled
for your day; there is an honor system bar on the second floor should you care to have a pip or make a yummy libation! It is a great location in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to just about everything! Sitting downstairs in the front parlor with a book and a drink after a day in St John’s was lovely. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the premises for our anniversary and the accommodations were fantastic. Located a minute walk from Quidi Vidi Brewery allowed us to see the beautiful scenery right at our door step. The room was stunning with amazing detail put into the property. Highly recommend!

Staying here was such a wonderful treat! Every little detail is thoughtfully crafted, the staff are so warm and helpful, and the inn itself is GORGEOUS! Love the concept and had the best sleep of my life in the comfiest bed ever. I’ll be back!!
