I was here with my sister, and we had a great time! The bed was so comfortable, I didn’t even wake up with back pains! I am for sure coming here with my grandkids in a few weeks! The receptionist was so flattering, she showed us to our room when we got lost, and even offered to carry our bags. The room was very clean and tidy, we had no issues with any of the appliances. The shower was the best, good water pressure, good temperature, and was very sparkly clean. The carpets were vacuumed well, and the bed was made. We had to share a queen bed, but it was so comfortable. I definitely recommend coming here if you want an easy, cheap, and wonderful stay in one of Edmonton’s best hotels. 5 stars!

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
During check in the lady at the front desk was rude and treated us like we were disturbing her. The lobby area and hallways were dirty and disgusting and that should have been an indicator of what our room would be like. When we got to our room and started to settle in, we noticed that the rugs looked as they have not been vacuumed and the bed was dirty like they have not washed or changed the sheets. The bathroom had black mold and snot wiped on the door. The main door wouldn't close properly. My boyfriend went to the front desk to share our concerns and the owner was rude and confrontational. He informed us that is how his cleaning staff does their work. He told my boyfriend that we could check out and get a refund, so after talking about it we decided to check out. When we checked out we were told, NO REFUND. The owner also informed us that we were even lucky to get the room for they do not accept cash or debit visa. He then made it seem like he was doing us a favour by giving us back our deposit. He informed us that we couldn't find another hotel at the price he charges. We have stayed in nicer and safer hotels at the same price we were charged here. The owner proceeded to tell us that his hotel is ALWAYS full but then told us we could have another room. We informed him that we would be contacting the Health Inspector and he told us to, " go for it." When we got home, we contacted the Health Inspector and sent in the pictures we took of the conditions of this hotel. If you want a safe, clean and enjoyable hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! It just leaves you stressed and disappointed.

The owner is rude and inconsiderate. He does not care about the customers in any way. The room I booked was disgusting. Black mold in the bathroom snot on the bathroom door the carpet was gross and the bed sheets didn't even look like it was washed. I went to the own to complain and he pretty much blew me offer and said if you don't like the room then they'll refund me if I wasn't going to stay the night. So I went back up to my room to talk to my girlfriend about what we should do and we decided that we were going to not stay the night. So i went to get a refund and he turned around and said he could only refund my deposit. That he would give us a different room if we wanted which he should have said that the when I went to him the first time. The owner is a scammer and no regard for customers as well has no intention on making sure his establishment is being ran properly. He just plaste the blame on his staff and said that's just how they work. So in the end I was ripped off for the money I paid to stay the night in a clean room and he refunded the deposit that we would have gotten back anyways. This business should be shut down for the fact that there are health and safety issues at hand. Black mold is not something to mess around with and definitely not something you just leave and not doing anything about. Oh and on top of everything the owner refused to refund my money I paid for the room and then made it sound like he was doing me a favor by refunding me my deposit that I would have gotten back anyways. So he took money and kept it when he had no right to. I'll be getting ahold of health inspection as well as the better business bureau. The owner is arrogant rude and has zero customer service skills. I told him that he should take down his sign that states if there's anything they can do to make the customers stay good to let them know. Which in the end the owner proved it's a lie and false advertisement. All he could do is brush anything I said to him off like nothing even mattered.

I needed a place to stay that was close to the Children’s Hospital on short notice. I literally clicked the cheapest place that showed up when I googled motels. I wasn’t expecting much and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I read the 1 star reviews and I’d like to cover a couple of things

1 - The room was clean

2 - The lobby was clean

3 - There was no smell in the hallways or the rooms other than clean sheets. There was *ESPECIALLY* NO smell of urine.

4 - The staff were friendly, professional, prompt, pleasant and available.

5 - The room was <$80 for the night, taxes and fees included. The room I stayed in had a queen sized bed that was comfortable, a microwave, a fridge, a small air conditioner, cable, a couch and some counter space. I have paid *SIGNIFICANTLY MORE* for hotels with SIGNIFICANTLY LESS on offer. Is it a five-star hotel? No. OBVIOUSLY not. If you want a five-star hotel, Edmonton has a couple of those that you’re welcome to stay at for $400-$700/night. If you want a clean, roomy and comfortable room that’s central, close to amenities and surprisingly quiet for being on the train tracks, this place fits the bill.

By far the grossest hotel I have ever been in!
I had to be moved from the outside rooms to a second room on the 5th floor (broken elevator). The room wreaked like vomit (it was coming from the AC unit!) and had questionable stains on the cuck chair. Unclean, unsafe feeling hotel. Do NOT come here with children.

If you ever want to pay for a room and be treated like an inmate... This is your place. Front desk was ignorant and disrespectful. Slept past check out and instead of offering another night stay.. he was aggressive and rude. If I was staying by myself I definitely would fear for my safety!! This place needs alot of attention. Cleaning was not a priority anf clearly staff has no concept on the word guest. I would rather sleep in my car then stay here again!!
