Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre numéro 2 en rez de chaussée. L'emplacement est super, à l'écart de la ville mais à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville. Le jacuzzi est très appréciable après une journée de randonnée.
J'enlève 2 étoiles pour les raisons suivantes :
- Les toilettes se sont bouchées après une utilisation (problème à priori connu vu qu'il y avait une ventouse à côté des toilettes)
- C'est extrêmement bruyant, d'ailleurs des boules qu'ils sont fournis. Par exemple, réveillé à 5h30 par voisin du dessus prenant sa douche
- Nous n'avons pas eu à faire aux propriétaires ni aucun service direct pour faire part de ses problèmes

Nous revenons d'un séjour au Canada. Au programme les Rocheuses. La découverte de cette splendide région a commencé par la ville de Banff où nous avons séjourné 4 nuits au Elkhorn Lodge, très agréable lodge juste à l'écart de la grande foule touristique de Banff (situé à 5 min du centre mais de l'autre côté du pont, ce qui lui confère calme et quiétude ). Le lodge est tenu par Janet, très charmante hôte toujours prête à aider, à donner des conseils et très disponible. Les prix sont très corrects et le lieu charmant avec un petit charme du passé. Nous le recommandons sans hésitation!

Heureusement pas dans le centre centre car ça grouille de monde, la patronne est très sympa, les chambres sont très biens. En 5min en voiture du supermarché et proche aussi de l'autoroute pour aller sur lake Louise ou Calgary, je recommande sans problème.

Beware, there are many other locations more conducive to a pleasant stay in Banff!
The host has the most extensive list of requirements of a guest posted in the room I have ever seen.
Loud neighbors everywhere, and no response to a complaint about it.
Does not make for a welcoming stay, not a desire to return.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. This was an extremely disappointing and dishonest experience.||We booked a 4-night stay at Elkhorn Lodge starting June 29, 2024. Unfortunately, a strike with WestJet caused our flight to Calgary to be canceled. With limited time for the trip, we had to decide whether to cancel or rebook a different flight. Since the refund deadline had already passed, we called the lodge to see if there was any possibility of a partial refund.||A woman at the front desk informed us that if we canceled the reservation and the room was successfully rebooked, we would receive a refund. Based on that conversation, we canceled the reservation online.||I closely monitored the listing afterward. Not only was the room reposted at a higher rate, but it was also rebooked on the same day we canceled. However, when I called back, she told me we would not receive any refund because the cancellation was past the deadline.||In other words, they lied to us to encourage cancellation, allowing them to rebook the same room at a higher price and collect double revenue. While I understand and accept that the original booking was non-refundable, it was completely unethical to mislead us into canceling based on false assurances of a refund.||Although this happened almost a year ago, I feel compelled to share this experience. I hope it helps others make a more informed decision.

Rented this out with friends before a wedding and was absolutely devastated with the way the long weekend went.

On the first night of the stay, we could hear people partying in one of the rooms, stomping all over the floor above us, but decided to not say anything because we were young once and it didn’t really bother us.

After the second night, my friend who rented the space was accosted over the phone by the owner of the space, accusing us of making noise and causing a ruckus. He tried to explain to the owner that it was not us and all of us had been in bed by 12:30am. The owner would not listen, accused him of blowing smoke up his behind, and threatened to call the cops and have us kicked out of the property in the middle of the night if there was another noise complaint. I then also talked to the owner to talk through the night but the owner absolutely refused to believe us and stated that since we were there for a wedding, it absolutely had to be us making noise. He stated that the property manager heard us, who we found out was staying in the room directly above ours. My friends were also wrongfully reported to Airbnb over the incident.

The night of the wedding came and we all made sure to be super quiet as we didn’t want to get kicked out in the middle of the night. On this night, we could see kids going in and out of the other room and could hear them partying until 4 am. We took videos to submit to the owner and Airbnb, which is why we think our claim was dropped. We also filed a noise complaint so that it was known it was not us partying.

After the morning of the second party, it dawned on us that the floor plan was available to us. Once we were looking at it, we noticed that there were stairs connecting the room of the property manager and the suite we could see people partying in. All night we could hear people stomping up and down the stairs, so of course we came to the conclusion that the PM was more than likely throwing parties in empty units with their friends and blaming the noise on us to cover their own butt.

We never got an apology or acknowledgement of the wrong accusations from anyone involved and were left to live in fear the whole weekend of being removed. We didn’t get to have fun in the hot tub or in general during hours that were outside of quiet hours. We saw the Ops Manager on our last day and she didn’t even apologize for the harassment we received.

If you love being gas lit, listening to people partying, and horrible mattresses, this place is for you.

Just a friendly reminder about our stay at Elkhorn Lodge. We stayed there for 3 nights. The lodge was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, and its location is fantastic, just 8 to 10 minutes walking distance from downtown Banff. The hosts were impressively responsive.

Abbiamo alloggiato due notti in questo Lodge immerso nella natura e a soli 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Banff.
Siamo stati molto bene e i proprietari erano gentili ed ospitali.
Lo consiglio vivamente se volete soggiornare a Banff senza spendere troppo.
Le camere sono pulite e accoglienti, inoltre c'è anche la macchina che fa il caffè o tè in camera.
Spero che la struttura rimanga aperta per poter ospitare altri viaggiatori, che come noi si sono trovati benissimo da Elkhorn Lodge.
