One of the best bars I’ve visited. The food was great but the service even better. We were a big group of 12 people and the food arrived at a reasonable time. The chicken wings were too small for $17.5 but the truffle fries were amazing for $15. This diner has been a pleasure, our average price was only high because there were a bunch of hungry teenagers.

Service was mediocre on my afternoon visit on Sunday as the waitress did not address features, menu items correctly upon greeting or approach the guest in a suitable manner. She also initiated communications at poor times which was disruptive. Better luck next time guys, I won't be back for awhile or until this service improves...

Had drinks there last night and the manager Josh and the staff were very rude. It would seem they are improperly trained and not equipped to work in that environment. I would give it a pass and go somewhere more welcoming

Elwoods rocks! Great price on food, even better deals on beer! Great spot for vibes and a good time! Also Pele is so cool, give him a raise! Such an interesting lad! Ask him about Shakespeare!

Liam is a great host! Down to earth, he just likes to make Elwoods a great experience. There is outdoor sitting, which is dog friendly. There is an enclosed patio too. Great beer selections and happy hours. The BBQ chicken wings are excellent! Elwoods is a survivor!

My friends and i popped in for a bite to eat and a couple drinks tonight and we were waited by Joey. Absolutely phenomenal energy from this guy!! The “Stupid hot wings” & nachos were amazing as well as their banana flavored bourbon. *chefs kiss* but back to Joey. He’s one of those people who you could order 100 things and he would remember every little detail down to the sauces and sides. He is hilarious and made great conversation. Every business in this city needs a Joey - truly made our dining experience so much better than expected. Big hugs Joey!! We will back back xxx

Out of the 3 pubs/bar options in this area, I'd rate this one the best.

Tuesday is wings for $0.75 min of 10, and I tried duck wings for the first time ever! Lots of sauce and delicious flavours. Decor is nice especially the lighting. Bar seating is still allowed which I think is commendable. However all other tables are closely spaced but there are partitions. No physical or QR menus, you have to take photos at the front.

Waitress could have been more friendlier though, maybe it was just a busy day. Chef actually came out of the kitchen and served some of us the dishes which I think was really awesome.

Definitely recommend and will repeat.
