Emerald Forest - Tofino, British Columbia

Nos 2 nuits passées à Emerald Forest ont été formidables. Ce B&B porte bien son nom. Les chambres, décorées avec goût, sont nichées dans la forêt, et les grandes fenêtres offrent un panorama enchanteur. La maison est magnifique, tout en bois. C'est comme une pause hors du temps.||Sabine, l'hôtesse, est très prévenante et chaleureuse tout en restant très discrète. Les délicieux petits déjeuners, différents tous les jours, sont préparés avec amour et attention.||La salle de bain est partagée avec l'autre chambre, mais il y a possibilité d'utiliser une douche extérieure aménagée dans un coin de la maison. A essayer absolument pour se sentir encore plus au cœur de la forêt !!!||On peut profiter d'une immense et vivifiante plage, accessible à pied à moins de 10 minutes.||De plus, les tarifs sont extrêmement raisonnables, ce qui n'est pas négligeable vu l'abus de certains hébergements dans la région.||Si nous devons retourner dans cette région, nous logerons encore ici, c'est sûr.

We had a great stay! Sabine was welcoming and very accommodating - she even got up early to make us breakfast before our fishing charter. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a small fridge in the common area. The room had a ton of natural light and a small private patio. The bed were comfortable. The B&B is within walking distance of Chesterman Beach, which was great for sunset strolls.

We stayed in the Cedar Nest cabin, and it was our favorite lodging during our week in B.C. Albert and Sabine are delightful- and the perfect hosts. The cabin was well stocked with basic kitchen supplies, and the bed linens were cozy. We were surprised how much we enjoyed the outside shower- it's definitely private, and just kind of fun to shower in the forest. The cabin was quiet and cozy. There are so many windows- with peaceful views of the forest. We stayed for 3 nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. Well done, Sabine and Albert!

Sabine and Albert were amazing hosts! The accommodation was nice, clean and bright with my own little private patio. The hot outdoor shower is definitely a must after a day out surfing! Sabine was super accommodating with the time I wanted breakfast at, and it was ready everyday outside my door - Oh and it was beyond delicious! I am definitely coming back and staying here, and suggest that you do the same - I promise, you won't regret it!!

We spent three nights here and will return next time we are in Tofino. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved being able to have an outdoor shower after spending time in the surf. Albert and Sabine were awesome hosts and provided us with tons of insider ideas about places to hike, eat, and immerse ourselves in Tofino area. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast each morning was perfect. There was just one other guest while we were there but we never bumped into them. It felt very private and welcoming - a great escape in a beautiful place. Loved being able to walk to the beach!

This was an amazing place. Private in the forest, while very close to everything in Tofino. Sabine and Albert were wonderful hosts that let you have your privacy but informative and wonderful to chat with as well. The room was clean, comfy, and airy with a great view of the forest. Yummy breakfasts delivered to our room was so nice. the outdoor shower in the forest was fantastic after a run, surfing, or just a day out and about. We highly recommend staying here.

I was in Tofino for a family event over the weekend. After checking out some reviews, I figured I didn't need to be on the beach, but close to the beach would be good. Man, am I glad I found Sabine and the Emerald Forest B&B. Tucked away off the main road, not hard to find if you follow directions. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. I stayed in the main house with the two rooms. Very spacious, with a queen bed and sitting area with table. Shared bathroom for the two rooms. I never saw or heard from the other guests. Sabine's breakfast in the morning was the perfect amount and delicious. Make sure to enjoy the outdoor shower! Will definitely return for another visit! Thanks Sabine!

Amazing unit with very friendly host.
It's a big unit with private bedroom, bathroom, lounge/kitchen.
Nice, big comfortable bed.
Hot shower inside and outside.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you possible need (microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, hotplate).
There's a private covered patio with a gas BBQ and seating.

It's 5km from town, but it's quiet and tranquil setting in the forest makes it unique.

Highly recommended!
