Oh how I love this place! It is absolute paradise. The cabin has all the kitchen appliances and a wood-burning fireplace inside. There is also a fire pit outside to sit and enjoy the amazing night sky. The only downside was the hot water tank in the small cabin that didn't provide quite enough hot water. Considering everything else this place has to offer, that was a VERY minor inconvenience! The price per night is more than fair, and Rocky, the owner, is a total sweetheart. I can't wait to go back again!

Totally recommend!!!!!

Stayed in BigBear cabin. Very clean (except for friendly spiders). There were pots, pans, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, dish detergent, towels, etc. Left over oil, sugar, body soap, etc. Slept 9 people- 5 single beds in the attic, queen bed in one room and 2 singles in another room. 1 bathroom, but some outhouses on property so no one was really waiting to use bathroom.

Property and management was AMAZING!! Horses were boarded got moved around property and so friendly. They were right behind the cabin. Deer came to visit often too. Sat on porch drinking coffee and 2 different mountain views.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Big Bear cabin. Everyone loved seeing the horses in the paddock. The cabin had everything we needed and slept nine people. There are a lot of trails to hike and it's so close to the Park.

I really enjoyed our stay here. It is a private, rustic cabin with all the appliances and bedding you need for a comfortable stay. Precut firewood was included, the match lit gas stove could be a bit tricky but if get the hang of it(using a candle helps), no problem. My preschooler complained about the cracks and discoloration of some things (city kid) but I found it to be clean and quite pleasant.

If you are looking for a new, modern, sleek cabin that has neighbors 6 feet from your doorstep on either side, this is not for you. But I love that we had a lot of privacy. I loved the horses. I loved the grass fields and quietness. I loved the location, close to William A. Switzer Provincial where we were paddling. The proprietor was friendly but pretty much gave us space. It was accommodating for children (no rule about not allowing them to sleep on the beds). very affordable. We lucked out by getting a cancellation and were allowed to stay just one night (many places in the area require minimums during summer) Would love to go back. Maybe try the bigger cabin with a larger group some day?

Awesome place to relax and spend time with like minded people. Would recommend to people who like a quiet stay with horses since they have a lot of trails accessible, and really close to the river. The cabins are well priced and perfect for the whole family. They sometimes have ceremonies and workshops available. The ranch is run by Rocky, Reese and a couple John's all of whom are ready to make your stay even better if you need extra commodities, with a smile on their face and a firm handshake. 5 stars

The quiet, cozy, quaintness of the Big Bear cabin would be great for any family gathering or just a quiet get away. Would be beautiful any time of year here. Rocky, the Ranch Manger is a great guy. We will for sure be back to try the Little Bear cabin for a cozier weekend. Big enough property you dont feel like there are 4 cabins (possibly 5).
