My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Leeann and Ha today. We asked for a pedicure at 5:45pm and they made sure they could fit us in (close at 7pm). After teaching us about how to address our specific issues, they stayed in the spa longer to address all of our needs. We love every service and will return (from Calgary) next month. Overall a happy, safe and welcoming host and environment.

I walked in off the street hoping for a pedicure and was immediately seated. The nail technician did a great job, with a wonderful foot and lower leg massage. My gel nails lasted in excess of 6 weeks with no chipping. I walked in 2 days later as the gel on my fingernail from a manicure in another country had split, and they repaired it for no cost. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst manicures I have ever received. I was able to get a very last minute walk in appointment for a shellac manicure days before my wedding (after a failed manicure appointment at another salon in Canmore due to the technician being a no show). While the staff here were very kind and accommodating, the overall experience was quite poor. First, they refused to do a nail design (French ombre tips) which is fine, but then they did not use the color that I had selected. My nails were filed to the wrong shape and while I tried to ask for it to be corrected, it was not. My cuticles were also cut roughly and the polish was not applied neatly to my nails, it was quite messy around my nail beds. The worst part was that although this was a gel manicure which would typically last me 2+ weeks, all of the polish popped entirely off every single nail within 48 hours! This left me with no time to fix the situation before my wedding and I had to resort to glue on nails. I am extremely disappointed!

Paid 64$ for a fill that was awful. The shape did not look good, colour on my cuticles, and they started to fall off 2 days after I got them done! Definitely would not recommend

Absolutely the worst shellac manicure I have had. She used the electric file to take off old shellac and kept burning me. I would pull my hand back and say that. I’ve already had 3 nails break off at the quick because she filed my real nails down to paper. I would take caution before I would ever go there. I have had my nails done for years. This was the worst job ever!! UPDATE- one week later all the shellac peeled off and all my nails are off too the quick as they were paper thin.

Worst pedicure service ever! They have no idea what they’re doing and can’t even follow basic instructions. A grade schooler could do a better job! I’m shocked they’re still operating, considering only one person there seemed to know what they were doing—that must be where the 1% of positive reviews come from. The staff clearly need more training.

I paid $57.50 (discounted $10 per owner) for unevenly cut toenails and the worst cleaning I've ever had. They completely ruined my excitement for an upcoming cruise! I was so frustrated that I asked them to stop halfway through, but since they were going to charge me the full $65 anyway, I let them finish with the polish and walked out—no manicure, and definitely no “thank you” from me. I was beyond disappointed.

My biggest mistake was not reading the reviews beforehand. I was in a rush getting ready for a cruise and didn’t check. Afterward, I had to go all the way to Calgary to have everything redone. What a total waste of money!

I was expecting a professional to do a better job than I could do myself, especially with an upcoming cruise. I wanted my nails to look presentable, as I dont have good toes but they ended up looking worse! 👏🎉🎉🎉 If I could, I’d vote to shut down this business—it has no place in a beautiful place we call paradise.

Visiting Canmore for a few days and had a crack in nail varnish from UK. They very kindly put a coat over it to help preserve it until i get back. No charge. Very grateful, thank you.

I debated writing this review because the staff at Expression Nails are incredibly friendly, which is why I am giving them two stars. However, I must say that my recent experience with their manicure and pedicure services was extremely disappointing. It was the absolute WORST manicure and pedicure I have ever had. It all started with the pedicure. I specifically requested square-shaped toenails, but unfortunately, the technician completely clipped off one of my big toenails. I had to ask her to only file the second one, which she ended up shaping into an almond shape instead. Although it was frustrating, I tried to brush it off and hoped for a better outcome during the painting process

To my dismay, while she was painting my nails, I could feel the brush touching my skin. Her application was so messy and out of the lines that it looked like a child had painted them. I had to seek assistance from another lady to fix the mess. At this point, I should have called it quits, but against my better judgment, I decided to proceed with a gel manicure. Who seemed to be the owner of the salon assured me that she would personally handle it. However, she painted so far off the cuticle that it appeared as if I hadn't had my nails done in weeks. Additionally, she flooded my nail beds on the sides, causing the nail polish to peel off completely within 30 minutes of leaving the salon.

Now, just 24 hours later, I find myself having to completely re-file and repaint my toenails, as well as repaint my fingernails as the polish completely peeled off. Overall, my experience at Expression Nails was marred by subpar services and lack of attention to detail. I hope that they can improve their skills and provide a better experience for future customers.
