WOW! Excellent meal. Had the Shepard’s Pie which is, we were told by our friendly server, a recent addition to the menu. Tough call as the burger happening the next table over looked ridiculously tasty, but our server suggested the Shepard’s Pie was an excellent choice. She wasn’t wrong.
A generous serving of ground beef and lamb in a superb red wine gravy beneath a mountain of delicious mashed potatoes. So good. Served with a fresh garden salad and hot garlic toast, what more could you want. It was as good as, or even better than, a home cooked meal (assuming your home cooked meal is a good one).
My wife had a locally brewed, on tap ale which she described as very satisfying.
The service was friendly and quick.
As an aside, humorous washroom indicators bring a smile to the face. See pictures. Washrooms were clean.

Had an incredible lunch at Fenwick & Baker in Cranbrook. Every single dish was excellent! They managed to accommodate our group of 15-20 people effortlessly, and their kindness and hospitality were top-notch. The fries were absolutely delicious, and the brisket beef dip was to die for. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the food and the service, but Fenwick & Baker delivered on both. Props to Raylynn and her outstanding service!
Highly recommend if you’re in Cranbrook and looking for a fantastic meal!

An incredible service today.
Server was so nice and great vibes for a lunch with a group of 5.
I had the elk and lamb meatloaf which was plated beyond my expectations. Looked like a steak. Insanely juicy. Would recommend this for anyone. If you come here for some different menu items this is the go to item.

The burger (friends ordered the elk burger) themselves were slightly dry, but elk is very lean in general. Fries are also highly recommended!!

Just visiting town but a great gem.

Great meal, we all chose Fish and chips. The fish wasn’t greasy the fries were delicious, added gravy it was very good, two sides , coleslaw and a salad. Yum!
Now for my drink.. be forewarned,
this is not the place to order a shaken margaritas.. it was straight lime juice, was there Tequila? Ordered a side of soda to cut the tartness, when the others ordered another round I ordered a shot of tequila..
I will go back but won’t be ordering a margarita!!

In town for the Eastern British Columbia Break Dancing Championships under 50 division (EBCBDCU50) and stopped in here for perfectly crafted long island iced tea. After hearing our server romance the hell out of the soup of the day we were all in. One bowl of steaming hot cabbage soup and 5 spoons. I gotta tell you, that has gotta be the BEST cabbage soup this side of the Mount Baker.

Not our first time here, a year ago we came in for the beef & barley soup....have been thinking about it ever since. Super stoked to see what the soup du jour will be next year.

I recently had a delightful lunch experience at Fenwick & Baker. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the server who provided exceptional service throughout our meal.

The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of impressive. Each plate was beautifully arranged, showcasing the chef's creativity and attention to detail. The burger and salad we ordered were both outstanding, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
However, I must mention that the Pasta dish fell short of expectations. While it looked appealing, it was overcooked and lacked the desired flavors. I believe it could benefit from some improvement in terms of execution and seasoning.
Despite this disappointment, I was pleased with the overall quality of the other dishes.
What truly stood out during our visit was the server. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed. Her dedication to ensuring a pleasant dining experience contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the meal.

This was our second time going here and again it was excellent. We each had soup for lunch, and it was delicious and presented beautifully. I'm looking forward to eating there again. My husband had the French onion, and I had the Creole chicken gumbo. It was quite busy at the time, but our server Colby was fantastic.
