Worst Chinese take away experience that I ever had. My wife and I ordered some noodles and dinner for 1, what we received was fried rice and noodles bathed in Soja sauce. Dinner for 1 included beef & green unfortunately I only found 4 tiny beef strips in there. If you come from outside and desire Chinese, this is definitely not the place to go. Ultimately my wife and I spent nearly $60 just to throw the food in the garbage.

Echoing other reviews, can confirm: food is alright, and there's enough. But cost is a bit above the quality you get. Paid over $100 for 4 people. A little rough around the edges - my dishes were dirty from the kitchen.

Last time I was there , we had to deposit before we ate.. which was weird. We were only passing through on ViA rail. Unfortunately there wasn't a place in the area we noticed. So had no choice n now it's regrettable.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This sign is on their door.
These owners should be embarrassed of themselves. Thus disgusting place should be shut down. Couldn't imagine the way they live if they can put this kind of stuff on their window for everyone to see

Great food and service (also cotton candy! :O)
I really like the waitress lady because she remembers my favourite milkshake flavour :3

The food is great, atmosphere cozy, mostly not too loud most times.
Fifth avenue will always be my numba one favourite!
Also, one more thing, I recommend keeping the cotton candy and bring back the strawberry shortcake:3 when I come back for more counselling I would definitely come back to get some more cotton candy and breakfast :3

The guy who is at the desk is rude and he is racially profiling me and my friends. Since we entered the restaurant he was rude to us and the way he was talking to us and to other customers seemed so different. He was not approachable at all. Unwelcoming atmosphere for anyone who is brown or has any other skin colour. I confronted what we are feeling because the guy just banged the plates on our table twice. But after I did that he said he doesn’t speak fluent english and if I felt something bad then he is sorry about that and he said he is the “owner of the restaurant”, I said I don’t care if he is the owner or whoever bcz I went there to eat food not to get embarrassed. We ate everything as food was got but left the whole plate of Sweet potato fries just so that he understands that we didn’t like the hospitality. It is my birthday today and I was treated in a worst way and racially profiled since I came to Canada. I urge everyone to speak up against racism and don’t accept it just because we are not having the same colour of skin.

The food is expensive in comparison to the quality. The home fries are partially cooked, the sausage looks like it was dipped in boiling water and had oil rubbed on it afterwards. The poached eggs are basically hard boiled eggs. Why is the egg yolk hard and solid like that? They have a good daylight robbery scheme going on here. If I wanted to eat diy version of bad food I would have been better off doing it at home.
