Point positif: magnifique chambre, bel emplacement, beau paysage, propre et facile d'accès||Point négatif: tv ne fonctionne pas dans toutes les chambres et salon, le divan-lit pas très confortable, et de ne pas avoir de réception directement à l'endroit où nous logeons très ordinaire.

Un buon lodge dove soggiornare. Buona la location: il centro è raggiungibile a piedi. Il parcheggio è spesso un problema perché i posti auto sono stretti. Il salotto con l'angolo cottura è al piano terra mentre le camere da letto ciascuna con il proprio bagno sono al piano di sopra. Il piano terra è abbastanza buio e bisogna spesso stare con le luci accese. È gestito come B&B e quindi non effettuano servizio di pulizia giornaliero. Aria condizionata canalizzata difficilmente regolabile.

Wonderful retreat in the mountains. We stayed in the main lodge. Beautiful accommodations, clean room, delicious breakfast. The General Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. We will definitely be returning.

An old and shoddy building with a poorly equipped "gym" (it barely qualifies as one) that smells so bad you won't want to use it and a small outdoor hot tub with no view (except for the balcony that's right above).

It's like one of those roadside motels, except more expensive.

I had an updated unit, so it didn't look as bad as the building does, but the upgrades were poorly done and cheap.

Parking is an issue since there's no guaranteed parking space and the design of the covered spaces makes it difficult for people to park and open their doors to get out. So, people end up parking off center, making it even harder for the next space. And if you're not lucky enough to get a space, you're looking for street parking and walking.

It's a long walk into town, but doable. We ended up driving in every time.

Way too overpriced to be this shoddy and not have parking. I'd never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Fire Mountain Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. We had nice bedrooms with private bathrooms downstairs and just enough room upstairs to work in the kitchen. A nice dining room table with comfortable chairs and a cozy and comfortable living room area were great spaces to chill. We spent our evenings at the dining room table planning out our next day's agenda. This place also had a 1/2 bath upstairs and a washer/dryer in the unit. ||We were within walking distance of a few very good table service and fast food restaurants. Gas (petro) station was just down the street. ||The hub of Canmore, shops, more restaurants, grocery stores, etc... were just a 2 minute drive or a nice easy walk. ||The parking at fire mountain lodge was very tight. Everyone but the driver had to get out of the car before the vehicle was parked. But at least we always had a space. That was no problem. This is the only thing that reduced the rating from 5 stars to 4. ||All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and had a great time in the Canmore/Banff area. | ||

We rented a place here for 6 months and I think the hot tub was open maybe once in that time.

Unit is great and it's always wonderful getting away from the city, but the hot tub being closed for maintenance for 6 months is a stretch. I'm thinking at this point it's not coming back and this place just does not offer a hot tub anymore.

If a hot tub is not important to you though - this is a nice place. Rooms are dark and comfortable, kitchens are fully equipped.

We did a family trip to the area before Christmas, 4 adults 3 children and we had a great time. The place it nicely furnished and well outfitted with everything you will need. Close to the hiway and shopping. We had no issue with parking but it didn't look like it was full. Some people like to take more space then they need. Should likely be limited to 1 vehicle per unit. Only issue we had was the fire place was not working when we arrived but it was fixed quickly. We will be back
