Food is so-so. The menu under "egg Benedict" says, no poached egg(!!!) - so they use fried eggs and call them egg Benedict. Pancakes are not fluffy and not enjoyable, they crumble in tiny bits. Bacon and sausages are okay, eggs okay. House fries are over-fried, and not tasty. My coffee was never refilled until I asked once I had already eaten my food. The coffee itself is not bad. Portions are generous, but still for the food quality the prices should be lower. $23 for the breakfast and coffee. It's a busy spot, seems to me a lot of locals favour it, including big groups of people inside, or maybe it's because it was a Family Day. The place is clean. The washrooms are clean, I am sure one reviewer who posted nasty stuff was a competitor or something. Still, I won't be back.
-Lolz at the owner's response. No, I didn't come out to criticize, a lot of my reviews are positive. I wrote my review in good faith. I wrote about your place what was positive and what specifically you can improve. Maybe run with this and improve what you can instead of feeling indignantly offended. Good luck.

Ordered my breakfast. When it came I ate some of it. Moved a sausage out of the way and there was a clump of black hair. See photos. Disgusting. Server was amazing. Jayden. Disputed me paying for the breakfast. Told I had to pay or they would call the police. Said I wanted to go and speak to the supervisor who was in the kitchen and refused to come and speak to me. Told if I went to the kitchen they would call the police. My son had a hair in his egg and my friend had a hair in her coffee. Contacted the manager by phone. Seemed very apologetic, said he had heard what had happened. Agreed that it was disgusting. Gave me the e mail address to e mail him and the owner. I have sent two e mails asking for my money back. No reply. If you want hair in your food and the threat of having the police called on you…this is the place to be!!!

Flips was recommended to me by a longtime local Brampton resident. They said their pancakes are the best in town, so we had to try it.

The restaurant is quite small and some of the tables are right next to each other. So, you may not have the most private experience on busy days. I went on two separate occasions and one time it was insanely busy so it we were seated essentially beside other couples in the restaurant, but the other time it was quiet and we got to sit almost anywhere.

The pancakes are no joke. I'm no pancake expert, but these were very fluffy and soo satisfying to eat. The home fries are highly seasoned, which did not bother me (I love the salty potatoes), so taste them before you add more salt or pepper. One thing to note, the restaurant does not do poached eggs, so that may come as a disappointment for some. The sausage and bacon are very yummy and I would recommend getting a bit of both when possible. The fruits were nice and fresh and the coffee was plentiful and refilled often.

I want to stress that the portion sizes here are massive, so make sure you bring your appetite when eating here.

I’ve been here twice within the past couple weeks. Enjoyed each visit! The portion sizes are enormous for a great price and the food tastes amazing! The only thing I would say is that the servers need to be a little more attentive.

We recently dined at Flips with the whole family. The servings were impressively generous, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. The tasteful dishes were a highlight, though the ambiance was fairly average. Overall, a satisfying experience for a family breakfast outing

It’s definitely gotten more expensive to go here over the years, but it’s a consistently good experience each time. The home fries are delicious and evenly cooked, and I’m glad they went back to the OG shape vs the wedge shape they were trying for a bit. Service is fairly quick too. I wish they were open for more hours because I’d love to go here for late breakfast too!

Best breakfast in Brampton! Huge portion sizes. No nonsense old-school diner. Just really great food, fast service and very friendly family atmosphere. Home fries were great! Free parking. Cash or debit only. Will be back again for sure!

Small place but really fast and friendly service. Portions are HUGE and for reasonable prices. not the most beautiful view (parking lot)lol but definitely worth a visit. Seems popular with take out. Free parking . I got eggs and pancakes was great I have definitely found a new spot . Staff is really nice constantly.
