Probablement un des meilleurs fish and chips que j'ai mangé dans ma vie. Tout est fait maison, la salade de chou est délicieuse, dans les tacos, l'aïoli aux jalapenos est excellente. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux, j'ai beaucoup aimé jaser avec eux. La vue sur la rivière est si paisible. Un arrêt obligatoire!

J’ai trouvé le morceau de flétan très bon et la dame qui faisait le service était très sympathique. Ma seule suggestion serait d’offrir l’eau aux clients plutôt que de vendre des bouteilles d’eau. Merci !

Stopped by for lunch while we were visiting Bancroft last week. The food was delicious, generous portion, reasonably priced. The halibut tacos were delicious, lightly battered, not greasy at all, and paired perfectly with the coleslaw! The calamari was tendered and the amount of batter on it was just right. We sat out on the patio which provided a wonderful view of the river. The service was exceptional, they checked in on us throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely eat here again when we are in Bancroft.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the BEST fish and chips I have ever had - and I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur. Growing up in Ireland, I have had more than my fair share of fish and chips, and I mean it when I say this is the best you will find in Ontario.

My boyfriend and I ordered the halibut and chips, which we loved, but we were surprised at how much we also enjoyed the coleslaw! I have never paid much attention to it as a side dish before eating here - it had real flavour, and has ruined other coleslaw for me - yes, it is that good. And no, I'm not mad about it!

Tash and Val are beautiful, talented people with a real flair for culinary prowess. It also helps that they are very cool, kind people. I was verbally assaulted by a random passerby on their property and they rushed to my aid very quickly, making sure I was alright.

I think it's important to note that this is an establishment that helps people experiencing hardship and food insecurity by allowing people to pay meals forward. It is not something I've seen much outside of big cities and I was in awe to see it here.

I can't wait to come back and see you guys soon!

Our absolute favourite fish and chip spot - not only in Bancroft, but all of Ontario. We always make sure to plan a visit while in town. The halibut and chips are perfection, seriously, I’ve eaten far too many of these fries. The house made tartar sauce is delicious, we always get extra. My personal favourite is the fish tacos, give them a try! Love eating on the picnic tables by the river during the warmer months.
