The best soft opening of a restaurant I’ve ever been to. Service was fantastic, atmosphere and vibe were awesome. They warned us that the food would take awhile but it came very quick in my opinion! Not to mention every dish was fantastic. Will be a new favourite and will be recommending to everyone on the coast. Thank you!

Best caesar salad with both kale and romaine. Halibut with fennel was one of the best ever.
The campanelle pistou pasta is great!

Make a reservation! Friday evening was easy going at our 5pm reservation but it got really busy by the time we left at 7pm.
The cookery was excellent. We especially loved the the lamb ragu rigatoni and the mushroom pizza. I think the price reflects the value, quality, and the beautiful view of Ambleside.
Excellent service. Food took some time to come out the kitchen but for a Friday evening, the kitchen crew delivered splendidly. We will be back to try the hanger steak next time!

A gem in West Vancouver! Pizza was flavorful. Caesar salad with add-on hanger beef was just awesome. The kale and romaine lettuce were so fresh. The cosy decor and friendly staff made the whole dining experience memorable. Return visit is guaranteed.

I had a lovely experience at Fred’s. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. But what really stood out was the incredible customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was right, and they handled things with genuine care and professionalism. It’s rare to see that level of attentiveness these days — I left feeling truly valued as a customer. Highly recommend!

Visited for a birthday party. We were sat a little late but they kept us updated and checked on us while we waited for our seats.

Staff are really nice. The food was delicious, and the drinks were very well made.

This is a place I can easily recommend.
