Came up from Toronto. Saw this local bakery and we wanted to try it. This place had great fresh baked goods! we had some cookies and tarts that were fantastic! The apple fritters were some of the best Ive had. You can taste the love. They also have a cool wall full of antique cooking equipment for sale which was very neat!

Pretty much the only decent bakery in town. Don’t expect anything fancy. Mini warehouse feel once you step inside. There are no healthy options around here anyway, so if you’re stuck here craving for gluten abundant wheat then by all means go for it.

The Pecan Tarts were quite lovely, either as is or warmed up, the pastry was firm yet not chewy or tough, it sort of melted like shortbread.

The apple fritters were simply magical, the texture of the dough and the flavour, the thin crusty glaze, and the apple chunks.

One of the few places I have been able to find fresh eclaires. They were delicious and reasonably priced. My husband enjoyed the apple fritters.

Try out their soup & sandwich lunch. Nothing like a deli-style sandwich on fresh bread to complement a great soup. They usually have a cream soup and regular soup to chose from - neither will disappoint. The baked goods are scrumptious and the apple fritters are the best I've tasted in the last 30 years.
