Absolutely love this place!! I love to go here for lunch, it's refreshing that they do weekly menu changes. But I have to give this place the biggest shoutout when it comes to their family meal Fridays. We've gotten 3 meals from here and it's the definition of soul food. Not only does the food taste Absolutely delicious but the customer service is also incredible. 10/10 you best bet my family will keep coming back to this place. You guys honestly rock!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Terra and James were to work with for our Laurier graduate student conference. Everyone was so impressed with the food! They listened to all our needs, worked with our budget, and came up with grazing table breakfast and lunch menus that were perfect for networking and snacking throughout the day. In fact, I’m going to be attending another Laurier event today and their planners were at our event, wishing they had listened when I suggested they contact From Scratch. 😉 🥰

I was so busy making sure all was going well that I neglected to take photos when the food was first set out and available, but the one image I’m posting was of the gluten free, chicken tacos. Fabulous sauce and topping!

The vegan option was equally tasty!

Known as "The bagel place" in our house, my toddler has declared these the best bagels. I love that they have regular menu items and then menu items that change every week.

First time coming to this gem of a place in Brantford! The food is so delicious! We had the 3 tacos( 2 beef and pork) and the featured bagel sandwich! Menu changes every week.
The company's owner, Terra is such a wonderful warm welcoming person to her customers. The place itself has a patio in the back which is so cute and private! Dog friendly too. If you're in town, make sure to grab a bite to eat here! Also, the drinks are so good! I had their pumpkin cold brew and the lemonade is also delicious. I'd like to mention they have a pay-it-forward board where you can purchase anything from their menu and they'll write it on paper and pin it so that someone who is in need can come in and help themselves to what you have bought for them. Super supportive of their community.

I had an absolutely glorious dining experience at From Scratch! Right from the start, the service was impeccable, setting the tone for a memorable visit. Chef James truly outdid himself with a menu brimming with innovative and delectable dishes, all crafted, as the name suggests, from scratch (and changes WEEKLY!). The flavors were on point, and each dish was a delightful surprise.

The company, too, was exceptional—Terra was wonderful and added so much joy with her warmth and charm. Her recommendations from the menu were spot-on, enhancing my dining experience tremendously.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is sweet and inviting, with thoughtful decor that complements its convenient location perfectly (you can even buy art!).

It's an ideal spot for any occasion, whether a casual lunch or a special celebration.

Having been a regular since they opened two years ago, I can confidently say I'll be coming back for years more—even though it's a 6-hour drive away. I highly recommend From Scratch to anyone looking for top-notch food and service in a great setting.

I’ve been visiting from scratch for over a year with my partner and it’s hands down my favourite spot in Brantford! The staff are so kind and make every single customer feel special, which is hard to do with the large amount of people that come in. The food is beyond amazing as well and I crave it constantly

Definitely super tasty food here.And you can tell it's all from scratch I recommend the bagels that everything baggles, deadly, find me a better one and post it if you can lol 😆 just make sure you ask for extra cream cheese. Because the normal amount never seems to be enough they also have all kinds of different healthy alternatives, and their menu seems to be far different from anything I've seen anywhere else in town. Where else can you get a bowl of ramen
