I've been to another VR experience business in Richmond so my review will be based on that.
The game room is very spacious and well ventilated. It's almost the size of a school basketball court.
The game is also very interactive as you can move around a lot and won't be very limited as in a small room.
The price is also much better than other places.
Now, the cons of this place:
Staff is nice and polite but lazy or not well trained. Probably just underpaid teenagers.
We booked our session for 3:30 on a Sunday, arrived 15 minutes earlier as recommended. When we got there, they said they were behind the schedule 20 minutes. No big deal for me. But the reality is that they were 1h behind. They had 1 birthday party group playing and another group waiting before us. Each group is 30 minutes. So we didn't start the briefing until 4:20. Our game session was from 4:30-5:00.
The game itself is very interactive and fun but very glitchy. The quality and accuracy is poor. There are no sensors on players wrists and ankles, no headphones and the staff did not calibrate the gun sensor properly so the kids appeared always as there were crouching.
Another staff blunder: they did not do the recording for the gameplay that is included in the fee. Also, despite having no group after ours, they said they started a new game so the score stats were lost before we could take a picture.
Bottom line:
Do I regret paying the value for going there? No, it was worth the experience and my kids had fun.
Would I go there again? Unless you don't have serious budget constrains, do yourself a favor and spend better money on a better facility. Other VR experiences have much better quality and better trained staff.

There is no VR place in all Greater Vancouver that I haven't been yet so my review is based on my overall experience.
Second time I played in a Future Arena VR location and besides the fact that the games are fun and graphics ok errors and system failures are constant (the staff even told me "hey you might face some crashes ok, just let me know"). Happened the first time at the Burnaby location and also here. Tracking is quite off try to keep an extra distance between your friends just for safety.
The whole store is huge and the game space itself is good but I didn't have the feeling that I moved that much, the game we played (first time Infector and now Sword something) kinda gives the feeling you just going back and forth in a square area. They advertise 5000 square feet (the reason which drove me there to try) but this is NOT the arena for games ok. I would say the arena itself is a little bigger than 1500sq feet.
To summarize, is a good VR experience with room to improve for the gear and system, better VR experience will cost you more but will give you more.

Booked this for a small party. The arena was spacious and the staff was friendly. Some improvements could be made in the delivery of game rules, at times it felt a little aggressive (eg. DO NOT overlap the circle!, DO NOT go past the wall! repeated 3-4 times) though language barriers may be the cause. Hardware is somewhat dated, as the graphics did not measure up with their competitors. Pricing was competitive and I liked how it was located within a mall, so parking and meals made everything simple.

Unlike others, we did not experience any glitches in the game (we played twice). But that might be due to the VERY CLEAR explanation of game rules.

My son and I did the zombie one. Being our first time it was enjoyable. There were some glitches but didn't take away too much of the fun. They were supposed to email a video of you but we never got it. Not something I could afford to do very often even though I would love to go every week. Looking forward to trying the others.

It was my first time participating in a virtual reality game and it was amazing! Totally recommend while at the mall. Alex & James were informative and great! Make sure you book in advance.

Played one section with group of friends. Staffs were friendly but will not go back or recommend. My game play was interrupted 4 times due to equipment issue. Which made the game play very unpleasant as I can’t navigate or play. I had to step out of the play multiple times and wait for equipment check. When asked staff about my minimal game play time due to interruption, nothing was offered. It is what it is. We thought we fixed it but sorry.
