Good basic rink with working heaters. A nice surprise were how good the game announcers were and they played good music in between. The outside has a nice playground. The arena has a banquet and also has an OPP office.

I spent most of my childhood in this arena playing hockey, roller skating, ball hockey, public skating or just visiting and hanging out.
Fantastic staff worked there over the years keeping it exceptionally clean and operating flawlessly. I would like to express my Gratitude to all of them especially Earl, Ken BA (Bill), Andre and others all Fantastic people. An Absolutely Great Facility. Thank You.

Great park. Rink, service at the concession. Needs more dressing room space and food demand was more than facility anticipated. Was fresh and delicious, but options were limited when I ordered.

Great arena. Bright, heaters for spectators (need to ask to turn them on), staff is always friendly and snack bar has good assortment (including fries). Large hall upstairs, good size meeting room on main floor and clean washrooms. Outside; 2 ball fields, updated childrens park and small but descent skate park.

Hockey arena a little old but still good

I love this arena and wanted to give it 5 stars. The reason for my star rating has nothing to do with the arena physically, but more to do with the staff that are not enforcing mask wearing. My family goes to the public skate every Sunday and the last 3 times we were there at least 5 people were not wearing masks off the ice. When one of these people ordered food the the attendant still didn't ask them to put their mask over their face. The people not wearing their masks had them around their necks! Considering the new variant spreading like wildfire, I am very disappointed to see that the staff is not taking precautions to keep people safe.

An aging older arena that is very cold but has something that newer arenas are missing. The feeling of hockey & history. We played an 8 am game. The icemaker was working on the corners and creases by hand when we arrived. 35 minutes of Zamboni work later the ice was perfect. He was an ice artist. The kids mentioned how good the ice was. Lots of parking, very friendly people. Well done St. George Arena staff.
