Great facility! Rink, curling, skate park, BMX, ball hockey are and a Steak House! Great for birthday party's to trade shows. Lot to do. Lots of car shows it the parking lots too! Famous Ed's Convenience Store is across the street for Screamers too! Lots of parking, lots to do.

The George Preston Recreation Centre will be home of the BC Provinincial Curling Championships, which will run from Monday, January 20th to Saturday, January 25th.

Winners of this event will go on to represent British Columbia in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts (Thunder Bay, ONT; February 14th to Feb 23) and the Brier (February 28th to March 9th in Kelowna).

If you haven't got a ticket yet, please consider, you'll likely be in for a treat.

Alternatively you can also watch on Youtube; it looks like Curling Stadium will be coverage event.

George Preston Recreation Centre is a fantastic facility that offers a great range of recreational activities for the community. The skating rink is well-maintained, and they provide excellent skating classes for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your skills, the instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and very supportive.

The facility is clean, spacious, and well-organized, making it a great place for families and individuals to enjoy sports and activities. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The skating programs are especially well-structured, ensuring that everyone learns at a comfortable pace while having fun.

If you’re looking for a great place to skate and take lessons from experienced instructors, George Preston Recreation Centre is definitely worth visiting!

Good facility, well lit, clean dressing rooms, long bench. Only thing is the bench does not have room for passing by teammates but the coaches bench is nice to stand on.

Great food and service at the curling pub and restaurant. Lots of upgrades have made the GPRC more than an arena. It's an evening destination!

Decent ice arena. Doesn't have a water fountain to fill water in the bottles so you have to use the tap. It doesn't take much to install these in a central area.

Was there for a rivermen hockey game. Seats are a little tight but that’s standard in an arena. And the concession food/drink lineup was consistently long. The parking lot was good- lots of space! Had a fantastic time though!
