Georgetown Inn est situé tout près de l'imposant The Rooms, au coeur de St John's. Parfait pour explorer la ville à pieds. Les hôtes, Cindy et John, sont très accueillants et aidants. À la réservation, Cindy nous avait envoyé plein d'astuces et suggestions de visites et de restaurants. La chambre était spacieuse et impeccable. Le lit était aussi très confortable. Les petits déjeuners aux saveurs terre-neuviennes étaient délicieux et copieux. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement.

We have travelled around Newfoundland for 1 month and stayed in lots of B&B's. There's usually something missing in each. Not necessarily something big, but something. Not here. Cindy and John have thought of everything. From the meet and greet when you arrive, carrying up your bags, hand knit slippers you can keep, made to order breakfast, comfy beds, great shower, communal fridge to store your drinks in, etc..... Yes you have to walk across the hall to the bathroom for most rooms, but they give you robes to use. I'm so glad it was recommended to us. I hadn't even thought of a B&B for St John's. We stayed at The Alt at the start of the trip, which was really nice, but I like the Georgestown better, and it's less money with breakfast.
It's also really close to most things. Only a 20 minute walk to George Street and you can taxi back for $10-15 if you don't want to walk up the hill at the end of your day.

We had such a wonderful stay here. Cindy and John we're so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was so comfortable and clean as was the rest of the Inn. Cindy's breakfasts were delicious and there were always special treats on hand. John was always ready to help you plan your day with many good suggestions.
We will look no further on a return trip to Newfoundland we will automatically book here on our next trip.
We are missing it already and we haven't even been home for a week.

My friends and I celebrated turning 40 with a trip to St John's. We're so thankful we chose to stay at the Georgestown Inn. Cindy and John are wonderful hosts, affirming every rumor you've ever heard about the good people of Newfoundland and their hospitality. It felt like we were visiting family. The room we stayed in was beautifully appointed, the bed comfortable, the breakfasts and morning conversation delightful. We loved every minute and you will too.

If there was a way to add an extra star to this review, I would do it. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay - the immaculate room, the story behind the property, being within walking distance of almost everything we needed and the delicious made-to-order breakfast each day. But what made our stay most memorable was our hosts, Cindy and John, who were so kind and welcoming, so generous and attentive. We hope to be back soon!

The Georgestown Inn is a "must" to feel the complete Newfoundland experience. John and Cindy's hospitality was everything we imagined and more. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean with a huge bathroom. Their breakfast service and room the kind from out of a book! Also, their recommendations for the area did not disappoint in the least. An overall beautiful experience, thank you so much for everything.

Cindy and John have created a wonderfully warm and inviting home away from home for travelers in this beautiful Inn. We slept peacefully every night in the Teresa room after a full day of exploring. Each morning they met us in the dining room with a smile, great conversation and laughter. There was a beautiful table set with a delicious, homemade, belly filling breakfast every morning for each guest.The tips and help they gave us to help us were much appreciated and helpful. And our conversations were delightful.
Choose this Inn and you will be treating yourself.
We will be back.
