We would like to thank you for an unbelievable week on Gifford Island.
What an amazing Place and what you two made out of it especially the tent. Very quiet and very relaxing.
Gabi is the perfect chef and thanks to Christoph for teaching me steering the GradyWhite.

We LOVED our few days on Gifford Island. Upon arriving at the marina, we were welcomed by Gabriele and Christoph and immediately felt at home. We spent our mini honeymoon enjoying everything the island had to offer.
Between the amazing hospitality, food and different relaxing options, we were able to finally take a breath, settle back and unwind. The island's slogan does say it all : Live the Moment !

One word, “spectacular”. Let me start by saying that Gabrielle and Christoph are the most amazing hosts. They truly make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Their attention to detail is marvellous. Gabrielle cooks the most wounderful meals and the atmosphere is so relaxing. This is a special place and these are special people. We will be returning in the future!!

My partner and I spent two nights glamping on Gifford Island in late September 2020. His cynicism about the concept was quickly dispelled as we settled in to enjoy all the comforts of home nestled in a quiet ocean side forest. It was luxurious to have every comfort while surrounded by nature. The tent was clean and comfortable and Gabriele and Christof were great hosts. Thank you for the excellent coffee, delicious breakfasts and BBQs delivered to right to the deck of our tent, and for the delightful evening campfire gatherings. We highly recommend this exceptional experience!

Gifford Island- unforgettable experience

Christoph picked us up with a boat for a 10 min ride to Gifford Island. You sit down under trees with a beautiful view on the coast. If it rains there is a large tent for cover. Appetizers with self-baked bread; delicious. Afterwards very nice baked pork Austrian style, followed by Blackforest cherry cake. Very relaxed athmosphere with beautiful food; followed by another ferry ride to the mainland. Unforgettable!

This is our 2nd trip and will not be our last. Simply beautiful island with amazing vistas and just so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts are amazing and provide all you need and more but give you privacy too. Meals are fantastic and the lodging is exceptional. Heaven on earth and a great way to spend an anniversary.
