Selina was amazing and helped out so much with my injury from soccer using the infrared red light therapy, really appreciate the effort she puts into making her clients happy. Very welcoming place and lovely staff members.

I got my first facial and the product is amazing and the team is so knowledgeable and the results are immediate and unbelievable actually! I am a skeptic and cannot wrap my head around how this works … you can actually see the skin care results in as they apply the product… but the red light therapy for pain is immediate as well.
Don’t get Botox! Go see these people … it literally will change your life! My knee pain and arthritis in my hand is gone …just with 10 minutes … 🤯mind blown

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!
I have something to share that's going to probably make you shake your head but it's real!!
I was headed to the Shoe Store yesterday afternoon and the new Spa at the Tamarack is set up right beside Healing Hollow .
Amanda Compton works there and we got talking. It was obvious I was in pain, I usuallt don't complain I just deal with it or warn ppl how capable I am at any given situation.
Anyway so Amanda asked me where my worst pain is and I told her my tailbone area as I have 2 perforated disc's, Arthritis and Scoliosis.
So she said have a seat. Let's see if we can have u walking out of here with far less pain.
I was game. I have an open mind and am always searching for anything that can help.
She pulls this little hand held red light therapy wand and rubbed it on my lower back. 1 side for 5 minutes and the other side for 7.5.
She asked me to stand up after the first 5 minutes on the left side...normally standing up out of a chair is kind of like a faceplant waiting to happen.....
I stood straight up and walked a little bit and seriously it still ached a bit but I was not getting the spasms in my buttock muscles or down my legs. I was stunned!!
So we sat down and chatted with Amanda's boss about Paying it Forward Kindness in the Kootenays.
She very much loves the concept of our group and is willing to work with us with Fundraising and maybe some other events!!!
Anyway after the 7.5 minutes they suggested I get up and walk to see how things were feeling.
Again I was stunned!
The pain was so minimalized I couldn't believe it.
Now....just to give you a small view of my daily struggles....If I park in a handicapped spot and walk into the Shoe Company to order some sock or shoes for less fortunate folks in minutes the pain gets so bad I have to sit down and rest. As my back pain gets so intense I have to close my eyes and breathe.....Then it usually takes a half hour or so to get thru my orders.
My walk back to my vehicle is so painful I'm not always sure I will make it.
However...yesterday after the treatment I walked comfortably into Shoe Co and stood at the counter for about 10 or 15 minutes then sat for a minute and got back up and stood the rest of the time....then I went to the Dollarama and walked all thru there, then went and did some pickups.
Normally when I get home from errands I have to take some form of pain pill...and rest for a bit before I am able to hobble down the hall.
Yesterday I came home and started to prepare dinner, clear out the fridge a bit. Went through my cupboard and straighted things out. Made sandwiches for Brad's lunch for today. By this time my knees are screaming at me saying Hey!! Enough! We hurt bad.....but my back was still good.
I decided I was done for the day and chilled the rest of the night.
I was worried about how I would feel this morning.
Well at 7:45 my alarm went off and I got up and once again no faceplant walk!! I stood straight up and got busy. Dinner is simmering on the stove and I did some more fridge clean out and cleaned the bathroom.
I did have to take a break after that but I have not been able to do so much and not suffer for it.
So if you have chronic pain pop down and see these wonderful ladies. I'm so glad I stopped just to say "HI".

Selina helped my experience with my knee pain with the perfectio x infrared light device. Turned it 180 around in four days i am walking without my pain and sleeping better. Go see Selina in Tamarack center!!
