My 80 year old friend fell when he was walking out of the bar/restaurant. A customer named Tammy is advising everyone to not call the ambulance because the bar will get in trouble. I believe the insurance, of golden pizza, should pay his ambulance bill and all other cost incurred by this unfortunate event.

Ordered a combo with Greek salad, a large 2 topping pizza and a pound of chicken wings. Got my money back because I wasn’t satisfied.

I'm so f'n pissed I even spent money on this. Chicken souvlaki is 80% overboiled potato ft. mushy carrot for no reason. 15% overcooked salty rice 5% dry salty chicken. Steak on a Kaiser tastes like farts and the fries are so mushy. The only thing edible is the salad but I'm probably just gonna chuck the whole thing. Never again.☠

Update: my roomate says the "steak" squeaked when he chewed it. It would have been funny if I didn't pay for it.

The cleanliness of this establishment is remarkable. The owner is hard working, friendly, always smiling, and happy to see everyone. The service from all staff is always speedy both bringing drinks and clearing up empties and such. It’s a fun place to be. Cold drinks, great people, clean, good vibes all around.

GRATE PRICES AND PORTIONS. IMPECCABLE QUALITY OF FOODS DEPENDING ON WHO'S COOKING. I'VE BEEN HERE 2 OTHER TIMES AND WHEN THE OLDER MAN WAS HERE THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL. I WENT ANOTHER TIME AND I GOT REHEATED FOOD FROM THE MICROWAVE AND A LACK LUSTER RESPONSE AND SERVICE. FROM OBSERVATION ANY FOOD THAT'S TYPICAL BAR FOOD WILL USUALLY BE ON POINT HOWEVER IF IT'S ANYTHING THAT MAY TAKE SOME SKILL LIKE RICE OR ROASTED VEG THEN BE PREPARED TO BE POSSIBLY DISAPPOINTED.

Edited: Just don't. Trust me, don't. What ever happened to this awesome pizzeria?!?

This is the place for pizza. I haven't been here in years, and miss it. I don't live nearby any longer and I eat only WFPB now, but, would come back if I could. The pizza is incredible! They load on the fresh toppings along with the perfect amount of mozzarella cheese. I used to live a 5 minute walk to Golden Pizza, and this was the place that my family and I would go to for birthday celebrations many, many years ago. The fact that it's still around speaks volumes. I miss the owners, their son and that incredible pizza.

Disgusting owner is a hater, just because they only take cash and I only had credit card and debit card and I had a quarter left, I asked a friend if they could lend me a quarter and the owner kicked me for that, just because you have a issue with my skin colour, that’s not an excuse, the owner is a two faced person……never again!!!!!!when you are beautiful ppl like them will be jealous…..envy is a disease!!!!

I've visited Golden Pizza five times, and they were always great. It's a restaurant that you can easily pass on the Danny. It's nice enough, and you can tell - as you soon as you step inside and give it a chance.

Love their pizzas. Will feed the family easily. They layer on quality ingredients, so it's good to ask for the extras.

Seems like the kitchen does a superb job. They put care into their simple and affordable menu. But its not half-assed like other bars on the same Danforth strip.

Overall: a relaxing, very low key little joint. No attitude. Straight up friendly East York crowd. Worth a visit.
