Was visiting Banff for the weekend from Calgary and wanted to try this place after seeing reviews and they exceeded my expectation!
Sean, our server, provided one of the best services we've had in a long time. Friendly, attentive, respectful and personable.

Food, was of course delicious! The drink, last of us, was one of the best and memorable drinks we've had in awhile as well.

Really enjoyed our time here!

Beautiful restaurant. We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner full of amazing flavors and the service was great and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic and prices are very reasonable. Definitely will be back. We had the thai mussels, and a wild mushroom risotto, wild boar pork chop and a chocolate ganache for dessert. Jasmine the GM and her team have a great eye for hospitality and we cannot wait to go back and check out the new brunch menu.

This restaurant is very inviting, well located inside the Otter Hotel. I tried the Mountain Gather Board and a gin. I don't remember enjoying flavors this much. It was an amazing experience, and the food was unbelievably enjoyable. The environment is amazing, and the stuff was super friendly.
For desert, I got the banana coconut cake. I was surprised with the size of the portion, and although it was not my favorite, it was really good, and the presentation was great. Highly recommend it.

Came here for some appetizers and a coffee and was very pleasantly surprised. New venue with great menu and a rather attentive staff.

The beetroot cheesecake and bison tartare were excellent. Our server Ivan kept good care of us and the chef Viktor came by and was quite passionate about the menu.

It’s a new venue and def worth a try anytime visiting Banff. I’d expect it to get a whole lot busier soon.

My friend and I dined here for the opening night and were absolutely blown away. The food, the ambiance, and the service far exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were dining at an upscale restaurant in the city, not nestled in the Canadian Rockies. The chefs have outdone themselves with this wonderful menu, and I highly recommend you choose Good Folk for your next dining experience in Banff.

What we enjoyed: Zucchini Fritters, Salmon Gravlax, Mushroom Risotto, Sirloin and Root Veg, Chocolate Torte.

Terrific experience dining here. The atmosphere and decor was great, our server Sean did a wonderful job, and the ribeye for two was delicious. Broccolini and mashed potatoes were amazing, only critique would be the squash.

Fantastic new restaurant. Very well designed and cozy atmosphere. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very kind the whole night. Food was amazing, for sure on the more pricey side but the quality matches the price. The wild boar chop was a 10/10.

We had an exceptional experience here! We shared the ribeye for two, and it was the best meal I have had in a long time. The staff went above and beyond, especially our server Adam. We will definitely be back!
