This was a great place to stay. I really enjoyed it here. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negative I can say is the bathroom ceiling probably needs redone but that didn't really bother me. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room away from the stairwell. My room was next to the stairwell so it was a bit noisy with people going up and down but I am an excellent sleeper so that didn't really bother me.
Oh and as a side-sleeper I was a big fan of the soft mattress.

After driving through Beaver Lodge to visit the world-famous huge beaver, my friends and I stopped for a night at the Grand Marshal Inn. Traveling on an epic journey from Texas to Alaska, we had camped much of the way, and we were not sure what we would find in the little agricultural hamlet of Hythe, Alberta. The Grand Marshal Inn was just what we needed. We were greeted with abundant hospitality by Karen at the front desk, who brought us warmth, poutine, and belly laughs. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and we could not have asked for a better stay. The bagged complimentary breakfast sent us on our way with warm hearts and full bellies. We will forever remember the Grand Marshal Inn.

Easy to find. Incredibly comfortable bed and bedding. Nice and quiet. My room overlooked a lovely stand of trees. Coffee provided tasted really good. Delightful sack of morning goodies to eat. Nice hygiene products. Great staff.

Looks can be deceiving!! The outside might need a little paint. But, the staff is incredibly friendly, beds are some of the best, and everything is really clean. Will stay again when passing through!

Happily surprised during our recent visit! Amazing customer service from the front desk staff, very helpful and welcoming. Nice, clean and updated room. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great value compared to the other hotels we considered in the area. We didn’t get to try the restaurant this time but look forward to on our next visit as it smelled delicious.

Pulling up the building was underwhelming, however everything changes when you step inside. Lobby was open and updated.Both ladies that helped us were amazing.

The dining and bar is updated. The bar area is only open on weekends but we were able to peek inside (* it is beautiful in there).

The restaurant has a large menu and we tried quite a few. My favorite was the crispy chicken sandwich on foccacia.

This location is super pet friendly. We loved walking around the area with the puppers. Hands down would stay again!!

Rooms are very nice with super comfy beds. Bathroom is on the tiny side but very clean.

1st-time to Hythe. Stopped in for supper, we were greeted upon entering the building and were greeted by the waitress as we sat down. She was very good at what she does, prompt, friendly, and efficient service. The food was very tasty, my husband had a steak and it was cooked just right. We would highly recommend stopping in for a meal if you're touring in the area!
