We loved our experience at Grandma's Kitchen! We were traveling with a child who had a severe allergy and the ladies manning the front were so helpful and attentive in making sure there were things on the menu that he could eat (turns out his favourite was fries!) and spent extra time making him feel welcomed at the restaurant. We had the Grandma's Big Breakfast which was two large plates of breakfast food with super fluffy pancakes as well as crispy home fries, and the Grandma's Double California burger which was also so large that we put a patty to the side and it was still filling.

All in all, we loved the food at the restaurant, but it was the attentive service that we would definitely return for.

We were surprised at how large the restaurant was! We visited for breakfast Sunday morning and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was quite delicious!

I ordered the Mexican Omelette which was tasty and their sauce was a great pairing, wished I asked for more! And their home fries were cooked exactly how I like it. My partner order the breakfast poutine and given all the meat and hollandaise it wasn't salty at all.

We will be back!

Outdated, no theme, wood for days, no colour, no highlights, dull atmosphere. Only 1 server, on her phone a great deal of the time. Lots of empty tables, sticky wood table top so a clean white linen table cloth would have been a big improvement. Dishes were oversized and dated making for an underwhelming presentation. Non-descript cutlery was left on the table rolled up in a paper napkin. Food took longer to arrive than expected however the food was hot and tasted good. My eggs were not cooked to medium but were not grossly undercooked either, so edible. Coffee was hot and just okay. Dated looking Menu's, far too extensive (my opinion) wrapped in plastic covers. Again not what you would expect for the prices they are charging. Final Word: Over priced for what you get. Improved atmosphere, better service, cleanliness and food quality can be found near by for less.

Service was terrible. We waited an hour for our food and it was cold and a mediocre breakfast at best. The price was very expensive for a simple breakfast. There was only one person working and was unable to deal with the volume of people in the restaurant. At one point we had to go and get our own coffee. The chairs were broken and there were cob webs around our table. Overall a terrible experience.

I can not say enough about this place! Seriously so stoked we randomly just walked in here for lunch and my goodness. We had poutines and a BLT. Specifically the classic poutine and the butter chicken poutine. The service was polite and attentive and welcoming. Wasn't really busy but it was during odd hours between lunch and dinner service. The food came out hot and smelling like heaven. Yeah just super happy with these random find and will definitely be going back!
