This coffee shop is a long-standing member of the Midland coffee scene. It's previous location had a different, more intimate vibe, but the expansion with the new location certainly has allowed more seating and the incorporation of the roasting right in the building.

I usually like a darker roast of coffee than Grounded produces, however, the espresso based drinks are on the whole wonderfully crafted. Seating is often busy and especially at peak times in the mornings, it can be difficult to find seating. There is a small addition of an outside patio, which has a great summer vibe!

Last time I was in we both ordered Cortados and they were strong, hot, and beautifully executed. Grounded is certainly committed to a grassroots, organic and locally produced menu. Many of the food and bakery items for sale are locally produced. This business obviously strives to be a responsible member of the local community. This definitely is a must stop if you're in Midland for a coffee!

I come to midlan every year and i think this is going to be my new stop everytime im in the area

I ordered an iced coffee bombon which is a take in a Spanish latte using condensed milk and it was nice and strong but didn’t have a lingering aftertaste which is a good sign of a good roast

Also wanted a treat so i added on one of the scones which the girl at the counter recommended since they usually sell out early. And it was awesome. Sweet but not overly sweet and hit the spot.

Service was on point. The girl recommended the scone and it was a perfect reco. She was very friendly and made the experience that much better.

They also have some indoor seating and outdoor seating available so there is enough spots of people dining in.

Parking can be hit or miss. They have many people that park in front when there’s space, but enough street parking is available in and around the surrounding area

Just went to Grounded Coffee Company Inc. with hubby! Wow so good!
We had two vanilla lattes☕☕. I had cookie cheesecake bar it was so so good omg🍰! He had a salted caramel cookie and it was pretty darn tasty🍪!
Will go again! It's definitely a hidden gem in Midland🍵🧋🥤🍰!

A coffee shop that nails a simple drip coffee knows what it’s doing, and this place delivers. I had a smooth cup and it was exactly what I needed to wake up and get going. The interior has a rustic feel with plenty of seating, fresh-baked goods, and pantry items for sale, including their own bagged beans (which I grabbed to take home). A steady stream of people came through while I was there which says a lot. This spot will definitely satisfy the coffee aficionados. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Love this place. We pop in every now and again to snag a coffee and a sweet treat. Word on the street is they have amazing scones, but you need to get there early to snag some! Great vibes, service, location and coffee. Staff are lovely!

Nice cozy place to enjoy coffee and more. They have range of variety for hot as well as cold coffee, smoothies and snacks. The ambience is cool, place is big with few tables to dine in and clean restroom. The staff is professional, courteous and serve with nice smile. It's must visit coffee place if one is in Midland.

Ground Coffee Co. is 💯 worth the chilly fall walk from the marina, for a warm apple scone and hot coffee! The view of the water is the perfect way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning. They have a variety of hot and cold drink options, plus seasonal favourites (pumpkin spice or apple cider 🍁). The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The only fact to be mindful of is that they do not have customer access to washrooms.

Super friendly staff and management! I went in for a coffee and treat with my two littles- I didn’t realize they had little mats and toys for the kiddos! The staff were very engaged with my children and while I was breastfeeding, a lovely staff came and offered me a glass of iced water! I was so appreciative of this gesture. We will definitely be back! Thank you for such great service:)
