Beautiful location, spacious living area & rooms and plenty of amenities to enjoy - especially the beach just a few steps away. Our family recently rented the main floor of the ocean view suite and had a great time! Highly recommend booking this spot, especially with a larger group as there’s lots of space and plenty of activities to enjoy. The rooms were decent and the kitchen was spacious - especially having two full size fridges. The patios overlook the water and you can hear the waves all day. We could sometimes smell smoke from below but it wasn’t a major issue. We’ll certainly consider returning next summer!

I recently booked this property for my bachelorette party. There were 7 of us. I think we could have all managed staying in the ocean cottage on the beach, but it was great having both buildings and the whole property to ourselves. There were so many thoughtful additions throughout the property, we were constantly going WOW. We had such a fun, relaxing, joyful time here... we wanted to go and do more exploring but the airbnb offered so much it was difficult for us 7 women to leave the property each day lol. I had a massage by Jen one of the days and omg it was amazing. Overall the hosts were so kind, thoughtful, and easy to get a hold of to help plan. I hope to go back again soon.

I came here with my husband and a few of our close friends to stay after a busy week in Vancouver. Included in this group were two kids and it was the perfect place for everyone. You had everything you needed in the cabin, which was cute and cozy, and the area itself is beautiful. Our hosts were kind and friendly and gave us the feeling of having the space to ourselves. We would all go back in a heart beat and I truly hope that some day we do!

Two years ago I enjoyed three romantic nights with a friend in your cozy beachfront cottage celebrating my birthday. We enjoyed the solitude on picturesque Welcome Beach. The clear full moon nights were extra special. February did no stop us from enjoying cold winter days as we were able to heat the cottage nicely with the fireplace. I would not hesitate to recommend this heavenly retreat.

Halfmoon Haven is truly paradise on earth. They’re located right the most wonderful beach on the Sunshine Coast (according to the locals! Shhhh) and accommodations are really comfortable and well thought out.

We LOVE the full spa and amenities, including hot tub with sunset views over the water. Jenn also offers incredible Hawaiian massage and other bodywork treatments that are to die for.

We have been there many times and always have everything we need. The hosts, Chris and Jenn, are absolutely wonderful and always ensure that we are well looked after.

It’s a gorgeous place that feels far away and yet is so convenient. A win every time.

The Halfmoon Haven is in a beautiful location, steps from the beach. The property as a whole was a fantastic spot for our group with lots to do (hot tub, beach badminton, lots of deck space). The oceanview house has modern decor and stunning views and the beach house has a charming rustic feel. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I would love to visit again!

If we only had one word to describe the beach cottage, it would be COMFORTABLE. Two big old couches to tuck up on in front of the wood stove, a well-equipped cook's kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms for up to six people. You are probably 20 feet from the beach, and we spent every morning in the breakfast nook identifying birds and watching for the resident sea otter. A short flight of steps takes you up to the brand new hot tub and infra red sauna. Halfmoon Haven Beach Cottage is part of the larger retreat centre,, and though we did not see inside the larger building, or sample the massage treatments (because of COVID restrictions), we are guessing that they are equally gorgeous. The hosts are responsive and pleasant, without being (you know) TOO MUCH! Lovely walks, shops, restaurants etc within easy reach. We'll for sure be back. Nothing not like about this place - we've stayed in many Sunshine Coast rentals and this is by far the best.

Chris and Jenn have created such a special place. Halfmoon Haven has such a spectacular energy accompanied by beautiful ocean views and resort-like spa amenities. Highly recommend staying at Halfmoon Haven!
