We went without high expectations of seeing the wolves, as sightings aren’t guaranteed—but we were absolutely thrilled to find the entire pack sunbathing right beside the observation deck. It was an unforgettable moment!

We initially tried booking our visit online, only to find out later that same-day bookings aren’t available. It would be helpful if the website made this clearer, as we nearly decided not to go, thinking it might be full.

The overall experience was wonderful and surprisingly memorable. Although we noticed there was a lot of educational content in the museum, we were honestly too excited about seeing the wolves up close to take it all in. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided thoughtful, informative answers to all our questions. Highly recommend the visit!

It was a wonderful experience. I was fortunate to get to see the the entire wolf pack. Even if they had not been viewable I am a patient person and would have waited around a bit. There is also a museum and a gift shop to look at. I will come back to visit again for sure.. The wolves looked great and are clearly taken very well care of there.

This was a cool find that we kind of stumbled across. There's a great viewing area to watch the wolves from. While we were there we got to see them feeding on a dead carcass however they were not very active. There was only one staff member there and while they were helpful they weren't very informative. It was more of a just sit and watch type of place. If you're in the area you should check it out but have more planned as you'll be in and out fairly quickly.

Absolutely fabulous place I loved it so much. I'm a big fan of wildlife photography, wolves, and animals in general so getting to go see them like this was just so touching. I was planning to go for so long I couldn't hold my heart from jumping around when I got there. The place was super cool, and the wolves were very awsome! There was also a kind staff member there to answer questions and give information. I'd definitely recommend coming if you love wolves (even if it means driving multiple hours if you're like me 😅)!!

It wasn't super busy and the wolves were pretty much out the whole time, but I love that they have a lot of land where they can go around if they don't wanna be seen, makes me feel like the animals are really cared for (which I'm sure they are)

This place is wonderful when the wolves are up and active. But it is also very educational, teach the public some important facts about the history of our relationship with wolves. It is an important place for helping preserve these majestic creatures.
This place is worth the admission.

We went to the Wolf wildlife reserve and we're pretty disappointed 😞. We are a family of 5 and it cost $40. The facility has taxidermy animals in a small room. There are 5 wolves that were a no show. We fully understand that we would not likely see the wolves but the price is more than expected. We have been all over Canada and $40 for a 15 minute experience was not worth it at all.

We randomly decided to visit the wolf centre while staying at cabins close by. What an amazing centre! The wolves had just been fed when we arrived in the morning, just after opening, and what an incredible opportunity to witness! They are majestic and beautiful animals! Mariah, the staff member there, was incredibly knowledgeable and answered so many of our questions! I’d recommend going early so it’s a little quieter and staff can answer questions! The museum was very informative as well! It was really a neat experience! I highly recommend!

What a magical place!
Decided on a last-minute adventure to go for a road trip, to see the wolves!
We definitely did our research first and read that there’s no guarantee of seeing the wolves.
Just the chance was enough for us!
Upon arrival, there was lots of parking and no wait time(3:00pm)
Admission was seamless with the tap of the phone, and then beelined straight for the viewing area!
All six of the pack were there for full viewing pleasure.
Mark, the guide on duty was giving facts on the pack and answering questions to anyone curious to learn more. And boy was he not only knowledgeable, but his personality and delivery made the entire experience everything we dreamed of!
Learning that this pack started some 30 years ago because someone had bought some wolves, and then no longer could take care of them. Haliburton Forest Wolf Center, adopting them and creating an enclosure to sustain their life in his natural as possible way was their only hope and survival.
With minimal human interaction, left to fend for themselves, aside from feeding. These guys have bred and cared for themselves on this beautiful 7 acre sanctuary. The viewing area in my pictures and videos is a small section of the space that they can freely roam at will.
Their personalities and beauty is something you have to say for yourself! We are already planning our next adventure with the kids, and again on our our own to spend more time. If you love wolves as much as us, two hours was not enough. I could sit here all day And just watch them♥️
