I can’t say enough good things about Meg.. in Ajax location… she is truly exceptional! Every session feels like a luxurious escape, and I always leave with my skin feeling refreshed, radiant, and deeply cared for. Overall, my experience at the spa was decent. I booked a decompression cupping therapy session and a classic facial. The staff were friendly and the space was clean.

However, I was a bit thrown off during the cupping session. Before starting, the RMT asked why I wanted the treatment. I explained that I was curious to try it, wanted to relax, and had heard it could help with lymphatic drainage. He quickly told me that was a common misconception and said I should adjust my expectations, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. It felt like a lecture which was not something I was expecting when I’m going to relax. It felt like I had to justify why I was there, which dampened the experience.

Afterward, I checked the spa’s website and saw “Lymphatic Drainage Promotion: Assists in removing toxins from the body” was actually listed as a benefit of the treatment, so the contradiction was frustrating. If that’s not an accurate benefit, I’d strongly suggest updating the website to reflect what clients can really expect.

The facial was okay. The esthetician was a bit rough on my skin, more so than any facial I’ve had before. It wasn’t painful, but there was a lot of tugging. I could’ve told her it was too rough but I prefer to let professionals do their thing and decide afterward if it’s a fit for me. My skin felt nice afterward, but I generally have good skin, so it’s hard to say how much of a difference it made.

All in all, it was a decent visit and the team was nice. I just didn’t appreciate the way the cupping session started off, especially when the information on the website seems to contradict what I was told

Poor experience. I feel the exact same as I did before
the massage.

I had Greg as my masseuse. Spent 10 minutes explaining that I need a deep tissue massage only for my left trap and left shoulder. Visited strictly for this. Have had sever tightness for a few months now.

Out of a 50 minute massage. I had about 5 minutes spent on my left trap. 0 work on my left shoulder. He massaged my back the whole time.

Literally feels like a waste of money. My shoulder and trap literally feel the same as before my massage.

Really upsetting especially since I took time out of my massage to explain exactly what I needed.

From the staff at reception that welcomed me through the facial services provided, it was a very positive experience. Staff were professional and friendly. Amal was very good at educating on skin care and explaining the services. She also took great care to ensure my comfort throughout. Highly recommend

Had a deep tissue massage today with Jessica. OMG, it totally did the job. My back feels so much better. Jessica was very professional and friendly. A thanks also to Mag at the front desk who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their product lines. Thanks for your guidance and helping me with my product purchase. I was surprised about a particular massage service I got from this location. I used to enjoy Hand and Stone in another location I had been going to for a year. However, I had the weirdest experience in this location. So first off, the MT seems to be sick, always sniffing like she had a bad cold and frankly, didn't sound like she should be working that day. The moment I went inside the room, I could smell a strong odor in the room similar to when someone just smoked, perhaps, the carpet could use some cleaning.

The MT was wearing a mask, thankfully, but I could really tell she was having a hard time breathing with the colds. The weird part was she only used her elbows to massage me almost the entire time, except towards the end when she massaged my head. At some point when I was facing down, she sounded like she was either vaping or trying to just breathe through her mouth, paused for 2 seconds, because she seems to have had congestion or something. I should have really asked her if she was OK and fit to work on me so I didn't have to feel uneasy the entire time. She also never used her hand or used 2 elbows at 1 time. The MT seems nice and chatty. To summarize, I had the most uncomfortable experience in this location. I wished the service experience was isolated and at least commensurate to the rate.

I have an appointment, but even after 40 minutes wait, the lady booked for my massage is not available.
This is amazing, and even she is not replying to that when she will come in. After this type of attitude, my wife also cancelled her appointment.

My RMT was amazing, but don't arrive 4 minutes late! They will cut your 80 minute massage by 20 minutes and blame it on being 4 minutes late. I paid $200 for an 80 minute massage and got a 60 minute massage because I was 4 MINUTES LATE! Unbelievable. I will not return. Unfortunately this is not reflective of the RMT who did a good job, but walked out before my my appointment was to end without an explanation.
