I have gone to Happy Nails many times over the years. Sometimes great, others not so much. On November 18, I made an appointment for a shellac manicure as I always do. I mentioned again when I got there that it was a shellac.manicure. Staff asked if I wanted the same shape and a bit shorter. I confirmed yes.
However she proceeded to file my nails almost pointed and took the length off only by filing. I now have marks on my hands fro the edges of my fingers being filed off.. When it game time to polish, I wasn’t paying enough attention. Seemed a different process but let it go. No hand treatments like shellac massage other than a 30 second hand rub
When I was leaving my shellac manicure that was $35 was $45. I got home and really didn’t like the shape but to correct it, I would have had to cut my nails very short. I called and spoke to the owner, she laughed when I told her I hadn’t asked for bio gel, I’d asked for shellac She basically laughed at me and said “ you should like it “. Have you seen what bio gel does to your nails over time, not to mention it cost $10 more.

OMG! So this is not my first time visiting Happy Nails (they saved my nails after a horrible job done at Limeridge in Hamilton for my wedding), but now that I've gone there a few times I thought I would leave an honest review. This is gonna be a long one 🤣

First of all, sweetest ladies ever! They are all so friendly, and really care about their clients. They remember their customers names, and have such a great relationship with all of their regulars. It's really nice to see! I even saw the owner hug a lady today 🤣😍

Now, I've seen some reviews that mention a long wait. This is a small business, with great customer service, great quality and good prices. You are going to have to wait because they are great at what they do, and let me tell you it's worth the wait. I must also add that I've only really had to wait once, normally the walk-in process is quick, and they stay open later to ensure everyone is happy! What other establishment does that?

Now onto a more personal review. I always seem to go to Thu, she is so friendly and SUPER talented! I've attached a photo of what I asked for today (only a shorter almond) as well as photos of what she did. She is a real rockstar! ❤️❤️❤️

She has always taken very good care of me when I've been in (including saving my nails from a bad acrylic job as mentioned).

I won't be getting my nails done anywhere else. Happy Nails is THE place! 💅🏻

I've been going here for a few years now and when I walk in the door I'm always greeted by name and asked how I'm doing. It's a good feeling right from the start! I'm extremely picky about my nails and I love being creative with designs and colors. I ONLY go to Thu because she is AMAZING. She knows how I like my nails filed and she knows I like my sparkle (bling) Anything I come up with she can do.....all free hand. She's talented, sweet and funny and I always enjoy my visits with her. Best nail salon I've ever been to and best nail technician ever! Keep up the great work ladies!

I have never been here before today.
I have two other '"go to places"
But my schedule changed and I had some time between 5 and 7 .very last min
I called at 420 and was given a time at 530.
When I walked in it was so busy. But they had lots of Staff and all so friendly and accommodating.
Even as it got closer to closing time at 7 they were still so happy to take more people and wer not rushing us who were already mid service.
I juat couldn't be happier. I got my first French manicure on my nails and i love it.
When she said only 30$
I was shocked and thankful so I gave 15$ tip.(which I never do usually more then 5$l

I've been a very satisfied customer of Happy Nails for well over 15 years. The technicians are professional, friendly and take pride in their work. I can't compare Happy Nails to other salons as it's the one I've always gone to...why change when you're always happy with the service and results!

Amazing experience each visit. Love my nail tech (Nou). Everyone is very welcoming and nice, always wanting the best for their customers. They engage with you and do what you ask for. It’s very busy there and sometimes there is a wait but worth it. They do a full customer service of doing your nails properly with proper supplies and also do a full cuticle clean with a hand massage. I highly recommend this salon! Also recommend Nou and Tou as technicians to do a full set of gel nails.
