Harold and Fei have created this 25-acre gem. For nature lovers....beautiful acreage with flower gardens, orchard, berries, and lots of grassy areas too. Chickens run around, and when they want.....lay some eggs too..which are great @$6 /doz.
The rooms in the main house are nice and roomy ...... and have the biggest bathrooms with serene views to gaze upon as you sink into the deepest tub ever!!!
This is a one of a kind farmstay/ retreat,/ and recording studio with pianos in almost every room.
The large meeting space with your pick of comfy chairs and sofas also has the big , we'll stocked kitchen ,(dishes, cooking pots etc), bring your food and prepare right there.....then take a walk in any direction and enjoy.
Dogs are welcome in some of the rooms or cabin that's available, too. Solo travelers or groups will enjoy this home away from home .

Great and easy directions to the bed and breakfast.

Lovely greeting from the host Harold. He was very friendly, showing us around the place. The hospitality was above and beyond.

The common room and bedrooms give you a nice rustic and heartwarming feeling. It is such a different take on a bed and breakfast. Brings a community together kind of feeling.

I would absolutely book again.

Also the dogs are amazing! We brought our dog with us and he got a long very well with the owners dogs.

It is a quiet and calm place. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
I rented a room in the house for myself, my wife and my daughter.
The location is pretty good, too. Kilby Park is nearby, and the Cedar Cider Brewery has a pretty tasty cider option.

Great place where you’re likely to meet other guests. Very down to earth. This is not a Holiday Inn. It’s a family run B&B, a little rustic. Room was nice, clean and the atmosphere was great. They do have a common kitchen with a big fridge and stove. The owners were very accommodating. Dog friendly. People friendly. Highly recommend. And the area is beautiful.

Have stayed here in 2018. This is not for the person looking for a slick bed and breakfast it was clean and you can cook for yourself if you want to. Great places that relax. Harold and Kay were great hosts and interesting to talk with late afternoon not the night

A quiet and rustic farmstay.The house is quite old yet the rooms are all modern.
The dogs are super cute and the warm bonfire at night with all guests was beautiful.
Perfect if you wanna escape the busy city life.
I go here every few months to rejuvenate and refresh.

I stayed here with my mother for 5 nights (the last on my own). The B&B is not actually serving breakfast which they claim is due to Covid but other restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, deli and small diners are all serving food now to the public without masks so I’m not sure why they would still be trying to limit exposure while also not insisting on masks unless it was just a BS excuse not to offer what was expected in what I paid for. If I had known I wasn’t getting breakfast I would have just stayed at Harrison Lake Resort where it’s at least clean. The dust level in the room was so exceptionally bad that I have required an epipen to deal with my allergic reaction to it. It’s been 5 years since I’ve had that bad of a reaction to house dust. You can smell the house dust in the bed, the bedding, the pillows, it’s behind the bed, under the bed, in the sofas, the chairs, in the room with the pool table, on the musical instruments etc. It’s everywhere. Outside it’s pretty. I’m sure the massive rhododendron in summer must be gorgeous to look at. |The first night Harold met my mom and then me (separate cars) to show us into the house but he was completely drunk. The house has a row of tractors in front of it. I had a lot of hope based on the write ups I had read about the place and about the breakfast that they offered but you can’t eat hope for breakfast. Hopefully they do some really thorough cleaning and offer more than Toast for breakfast to subsequent travellers.

What an absolute beautiful place to stay!
I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for true peace and tranquility and the beautiful scenery this area has to offer. 10 X better than booking a beachfront hotel in Harrison Hot Springs and only a short 15 minute drive to Harrison Hot Springs if you do want to spend the day there. Although I would highly reccomend checking out what they have around Harrison Mills.
You are essentially staying on a farm. There are chickens running around, dogs and orchards. Acres of property to roam and walk around on. A beautiful large communal balcony to sit on and watch the sun set. It's a great place to bring young kids as mine had a great time running around chasing the chickens (although I did try to discourage them from that).
Another nice thing: they accept cash, and actually would rather that as this is how they pay thier staff! So when you call them, they will require a small deposit to hold your room which can be sent via etransfer, but you can bring the bulk in cash.
The only thing I would warn; if you're looking for a really clean room, this is probably not the place for you. This is a farm after all, so expect it to be a bit dusty. My daughter spilled a bit of water on the ground in our room and we used one of thier white towels to clean it up. Afterwards, the white towel was a dark brown, covered in dirt from the floor. Its definitely not filthy or anything, but not extremely clean.
Still, I would highly highly recommend over staying anywhere else, especially if you have kids or pets, and I've stayed in all the big resorts in Harrison. This was by far my favorite and the most beautiful scenery.
P.S: There is also a beautiful little beach only a 15 minute walk away that is also a campground. Definitely worth checking out and spending the day there. Great if you're wanting to go boating!
