Très bel hôtel au bord du lac, l'accueil est très chaleureux et professionnel. Nous nous sentons tout de suite un peu comme chez des amis. Possibilités de faire du canoe et de profiter du ponton et du bord du lac. Le restaurant aussi bien pour le dîner que pour le petit déjeuner est excellent. Je recommande.

We had such a wonderful time during our three-night stay at the Heather Lodge in July! Our room had a great view of the lake and was super cozy. Maria and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The grounds were beautiful, and we loved spending time by the lake—it was stunning! And let's not forget the food; it was amazing! Each night, we enjoyed a different dinner selection that was beautifully presented. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Heather Lodge! All staff were professional and so very pleasant, meals were absolutely delicious, with so many options! Our room was perfect with a private balcony. Not your typical hotel/lodge. This family owned beautiful destination is PERFECT. The customer service was on point, the location was absolutely beautiful and the food was gourmet and delicious at every meal. We will remember this place for years to come. We came all the way from Florida and we were not disappointed in any way. Highly recommend! 10 stars!

The rooms have everything you need and more. They look after every detail, you will want for nothing. The property is cozy and has all you need for a great get away. The meals were excellent with fantastic service. It is a must visit and one we will return to for sure. Only complain would be the road noise, can not be heard from inside room just will sitting on the balcony.
The staff are super friendly and helpful, fells like a trip back in time to when service mattered. Very happy with our choice to stay for a few days and looking forward to our return

Can't say enough about this lovely establishment. From reception, to our room, to the excellent service provided by their wait staff and the gourmet meals prepared by their chefs -everything was perfect.

There are no words to describe the experience that is Heather Lodge. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by name by Maria, the wonderful Innkeeper. She shook our hands, gave us a tour of the entire lodge, then escorted us to our room. She asked what our plans were for our stay and offered suggestions for activities in the area. We informed her that we were planning to head to Algonquin Park the next day, and she printed off a pass for us, and left it on our breakfast table the next day, as well as a map and information package for the park.

Our room was clean, warm, and extremely cozy. The attention to detail cannot be understated, from the emergency kits in the room, to the welcome note with a fresh sprig of lavender. Our room also came with an outdoor hot tub that made the evenings even more relaxing.

Meals were incredible. Each plate clearly had lots of thought put into it, from the flavours, to the fresh, local ingredients and plating. During each meal, Maria came and inquired about our day, and before we headed to Algonquin, gave us great advice for which trails to try.

I unfortunately left my hat at the lodge, and was distraught. Maria and her team quickly found it, and mailed it back to me, and even drew a special little drawing on it that I will keep.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay for a weekend, a week, or even longer, look no further than Heather Lodge. It has been almost three weeks since we checked out, and I miss it every day. Maria and team, thank you for being the best hosts and creating such a magical experience for us. We will be back, hopefully every year!
