Very pleasant experience. The owner was very polite and friendly. I love that there was a wide variety for the food menu because my youngest isn't very open to different foods. We sat in, and the service was worth 5 stars. The Baklava for dessert was SO good! Try her Baklava! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed a late breakfast, early lunch. Di e in or take out.

We had a coffee, and the Ruben sandwich came with fries and frsh creamythink cut, coleslaw. It tasted delicious, and meat was tender. Fries are a little salty.
A tea and a BLT, which was perfectly toasted, served with thick tomato slices, big pieces of bacon, and crispy lettuce. It also came with fries and coleslaw.
The kid's pancake was a delight. Served in the shape of a famous mouse, with butter and syrup. This comes with a drink.

This AFFORDABLE restaurant is cozy, warm, and efficient, The stoop was pretty easy to cross. There is a faux fireplace in the far room. The wait staff was really kind and thoughtful. The furniture is a little dated but the food and price make everything look perfect.

The washrooms are clean and spacious, but I'm not sure how a wheelchair would fit. There is a baby change table in the lady's toilet.

With about 30 seats, all tables have chairs that you can pull away for a wheelchair or highchair.

There were plenty of parking spaces.

This restaurant is located 100m from a rapid electric vehicle charging station (50 CCS at Chevy dealership).

We had the Chicken Shawarma Platter and Beef Shawarma Poutine. Both were excellent. The quality, quantity and flavours made for a great meal. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are new to this type of food , just tell them and you will be pleasantly surprised how helpful they are. Thank you and we will be back!

Came in and ordered 5 shawarma platters plus a family fry, garlic dip, and 5 cans of pop. Total came to $128. No pita included. Small portion of chicken on all the platters. The rice and chicken had this gross grimy taste to it. Staff was incredibly unenthusiastic. Overall, do NOT recommend this place and will NOT be returning. This is a huge loss on this business's part because I do lunch runs for multiple groups of people on the regular. So yes, I usually spend over $100 in food when our crew comes through.

When we came into this establishment, the first time when they first opened it tasted authentic and was worth the cost. Now it's not at all.

Food: Had the chicken shawarma wrap. These chunks of chicken breast are marinated in a middle Eastern concoction of some sorts and not fire roasted - no crispness at all. The hummus was very bland and the garlic sauce had a bitter aftertaste. Likely not the freshest stuff. The tortilla wrap would have been the best part but it tasted burnt. Maybe clean the griddle?
The whole thing was just a sloppy tube of blah.

Service: No smiles and not a particularly friendly or unfriendly bunch, they're just... there. Lady behind the cash sitting there poking at the POS screen with the weight of the world on her shoulders. No one looked or acted like they wanted to be there. Definitely no tip coming their way.

Atmosphere: Sad. Everything was mismatched and looked like it was thrown into the place. I'm still trying to figure out the purpose for all of it.

Menu on the wall right next to the cash stated $8.99 for the chicken shawarma. Well... As was pointed out by Humpty Dumpty sitting at the cash, the menu I should have been looking at was in a basket, on the floor, by my feet - "They're down there and I think it's $12.99 now" was her response when I pointed out the menu stapled to the wall at eye level.

No passion here.

Very disappointed. I wanted a chicken warp, the server suggested the platter. I asked "you can't do the wrap?" She replied "well I can but..." never gave me a reason. So I am easy going. I settled on the platter which I never even got asked what I want for options. I end up with soggy salad and a huge mound of rice with very little chicken. I was excited to try Maria's. I wont be back there and I will share my experience.

The chicken platter and falafel platter were both delicious! Ample portions. I asked for hot sauce on the side both times and found the food had enough flavor without it. The hot sauce isn't very hot, just added flavor if you want it. I tried the baklava for dessert as well and found it was also really good. The place is clean and the staff is very nice. It's nice to have something different without breaking the bank. I think the meals are lactose free as well. I'll definitely be back again.
