Pretty typical bar food. Nothing special. Got a good range of happy hour choices. I don’t think the waitress checked in enough with us. We went around 5pm so it wasn’t too busy yet either. But every time we ordered a drink it would take an additional 15 mins because the waitresses we noticed really love to chat to each other. We also were close to the kitchen and the food would pile up before the waitresses would finally notice and then bring it out. At least it was still very warm.

As good as ever, love the cajun calamari, hope they don’t take it off new menu. Been going 5 yrs, always OK and nice atmosphere. Today was fabulous, the dry ribs were moist, the hamburger delicious and that steak sandwich was so tender i was able to bite through it. Onion rigs best I’ve ever had and fries always good. KUDOOS

Excellent service!
Sorry to say the food hasn't been good the last few visits. Nachos still good, but very sparse amount of salsa included. Bruschetta was tasty.
The chicken wings are just barely cooked through,
And the fish& chips were gross, 3 people at our table had them. The fish was cooked, but the inside batter was raw. Fries were very salted or not salted. We told our server, and she said she would pass it along to the kitchen staff.

I love it. First time there. The crowd is very varied and friendly. You have your seniors, younger folks, singles, married, gay, straight, cowboys, jocks, hippies, bikers, you name it....how a pub should be. Great food and comfortable. Chex- Mix of people! Lol

Walkable neighbourhood pub in a great location. Until today, I haven't been here since October 2017. Quiet weekday evening, cold beer, nachos were good. Nice to see disco ball was gone, fish tank was new, but nothing else has changed. Passport check, Yes and a comfortable time.

Everybody has their favorite neighborhood Pub and Sawbuck's happens to be mine. Even though I moved out of the neighborhood, I still follow the Pub, often attend events and eat there whenever possible. I love their Fish and Chips and Wing Nites. Also love their special prices. I think the great staff and a strong management contribute significantly to the popularity of Sawbuck's so I keep going.

They are open late which was great and you could sit wherever you wanted. It was wings night, so the wings were a great deal (with the purchase of a beverage). The wings had a good crunch and tasty flavour. The service was great and everything arrived really fast as well.
