Home Time Bar-B-Que & Bakery this ain’t your mom & pops breakfast spot. Great vibe cool music. I like the minimalist bakery side that speaks of real clean tasty treats and the darker lunch & dinner side with a stack of records giving a hint of jazz and blues. Yeah there’s country here deep roots. Make this a stop or spend a day in Brooks.

I had the Brisket Breakfast Burrito was good, would have like a bit more of the seared crusty bit of the brisket as I definitely believe in one side of my meat sear some call it Chicago but double or triple that for me and call it Barcelona that baby. The sauce was ketchup would have gone with A1 or a choice of the chef’s suggestion if he could have made the decision easier.

In all I’ll be back and am taking a coffee and treat for the road.

They were in the midst of training a new waitress so we did have to order at the counter, but they still brought the food to our table.
Chicken burger was delicious, fries were delicious, gravy was very smoky flavoured. Kids meal portion was HUGE. ribs were also delicious!
We would definitely go back and try some more items on the menu!

One of the best BBQ restaurants in Alberta! The brisket was great, lots of flavor. Chicken was really good too. The chicken crunch sandwich is amazing! Cornbread and potato salad delicious too. Prices are very fair.
I would love to see smoked turkey and mashed potatoes added to the menu.

We just had an exceptional meal here - brisket sandwich and pork butt sandwich with fries. It was so good and the service was fantastic. I’ve since been back to the bakery and enjoyed a coffee, a multitude of baked goodies and some fresh loaves of bread. They also offer take n’ bake meals around the holidays. This is such a fantastic local business.

I am surprised I didn’t leave a review last time I stopped by here but wow.

I want to start off by saying this place is a hidden gem that does not get too busy during the weekdays.

The food comes fast and is always delicious, along with the atmosphere and vibe being old school style, it really feels homey.

Every time I come out to Brooke’s for a service call I always make sure to stop by and get some delicious barbecue.

OMG. Went to have some chicken, but they had none the night I went in so I had the brisket tacos. 2 hours later I still have the meat sweats. So good. The brisket was so juicy it kept running out of the taco onto the tray liner. Next time I may try the pork ones or hopefully they have the chicken. The time before I the. brisket sandwich and a rack of ribs. Let me tell you they do ribs right. Coleslaw was good, I prefer mine woth more vinegar but this would likely appeal to more people.

I got take out and it was fantastic! Dedicated gluten free fryer! I had a brisket sandwich, full rack of ribs, and 10 pieces of chicken, all gluten free. They do not have their menu labeled as gluten free. I called to inquire prior to purchase. 10/10 would recommend if you’re ever looking for gluten free in Brooks, Alberta.

A must stop in Brooks. Family chicken dinner with cookies was out favorite so far. Delicious smoked meats, fresh buns. Zesty pickles and slaw. The bakery next door is superb. Swirly buns and hand pies are the best in Brooks. Always new and seasonal flavors for sourdough. Go. Thank me later.
