Chambres d'hôtes très sympathique ,très bonne accueil des propriétaires ,bien situé ,très belle vue depuis la véranda du petit de jeuner , très très bon petit déjeuner préparé par la propriétaire .||Seul problème il n'y a pas de sdb ,toilette par chambre !!!

Location:||The B&B is located in a quiet and lovely neighbourhood in Port Alberni, BC. With a car, it’s just 5 min drive to the marina (where most tourists in Port Alberni wish to go to make a day trip with Lady Rose Marine Services).||||The B&B:||The guest rooms are located in the upper floor. Shaoron & Dave only invite one group of guest at a time. This ensures a lot of privacy and the full attention of the hosts. So we stayed in one bedroom and used the bathroom down the hallway and the second bedroom stayed empty. Families or groups or friends travelling together can rent both bedrooms and share the bathroom.||Every room is decorated lovingly and in much detail in a certain colour. ||Cleanliness was immaculate.||We were allowed to make ourselves at home and use the wonderful garden (see pictures on their homepage) etc.||||Breakfast:||Full breakfast was served in the winter garden and absolutely delicious! I couldn’t have eaten a morsel more. ||||The hosts:||Shaoron & Dave (and their little dog Cooper) gave us a warm welcome. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were very bad guests because we declined most offers (no refreshments, no glass of wine…). It was very nice to chat with our hosts. The little care packages with water for the day and cookies were highly appreciated :-)||||Cost:||The Inntorestin was certainly one of the best B&Bs in which we stayed in Canada! And with 90 CAN per night it had by far the best price of all our 11 accommodations during our round trip.||Port Alberni is 125 km from Tofino in the Pacific Rim National Park – which is a long drive for an European and not worth to mention for Canadians or Americans. The Inntorestin B&B is certainly more than 50 CAN/night cheaper than a comparable accommodation in Tofino or Ucuelet. So you can decide for yourself if you consider staying there to visit Pacific Rim or if you travel on.

We selected this B&B for the location, the photos we had seen, Nadine's review and the pricing. This is one of the best B&B experiences I've had. Shaoron is a fantastic cook, the breakfasts are really a meal to last until Dinner. Eating in the winter room gave us a wonderful view of the Forbidden Plateau Glacier. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. The heated bathroom floor was a delight, even though the weather was in the 70s daily. Our bed was very comfortable, I felt like I was in my own bed. David and Shaoron provided excellent dining tips, and super referrals to local and nearby activities. The local museum, for instance, was truly grand, in the town's 100th year. The best tip though was a trip to the estuary at dusk to watch for black bears on the far bank. WOW!!! I got some super video to post and impress those back home. Being an animal person, it was a joy to have Cooper to play with. Check his picture, he's adorable! We shared great conversations on all sorts of subjects and they are just a delightful couple. Although they are busiest between June and September, they do accept guests, when they are available, at other times of the year. Do yourselves a huge favor, pick this B&B and have a wonderful holiday!

Dieses B&B in Port Alberni ist erstklassig. Wir waren zum zweiten mal dort und wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Alles war auch dieses mal perfekt: das sehr geräumige und saubere Zimmer, das eigene Bad und last but not least: das tolle Frühstück. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen, die Lage im Herzen von Vancouver Island ist landschaftlich einzigartig und unsere Gastgeber machten unseren Aufenthalt dort zu einem Highlight.

Dieses liebenswürdige Bed & Breakfast verdient eigentlich mehr als die maximal mögliche Bewertung. Man muss eine Privatunterkunft und einen engen Kontakt zu den Vermietern mögen, aber wenn man eine solche persönliche Atmosphäre schätzt, dann ist die Übernachtung in den liebenswürdig eingerichteten Zimmern und dem mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestatteten Bad perfekt. Das höchst leckere Frühstück bereitet Shaoran individuell und frisch zu. Uns hat sie mit einem „portablen Breakfast“ für unsere Schifffahrt versorgt, das ich eher als Brunch bezeichnen würde. Ich hoffe sehr, die beiden Gastgeber werden ihr Haus noch sehr lange mit Gästen teilen!

We stayed for 2 nights in Port Alberni. The room was excellent, clean and spacious. The other 2 rooms were kept free because there is only one bathroom. This was very much appreciated. The breakfast was served in the conservatory with great views facing mountians with snow. The garden had many places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. They were always prepared to make coffee and tea. Their advice on restaurants was very good and we enjoyed the good food of Port Alberni. The also advised to visit Cathedral Grove, a parc with giant Red Cedars.

This was my first stay at a B&B and I was very hesitant at first. My boyfriend was adamant that I try something new so I said what the heck lets stay at one. This particular B&B blew my expectations out of the water.||||Sharon, Dave and Cooper were an amazing hosts. Sharon's breakfast is by far the best. I loved her granola parfait! ||||I highly recommend this B&B and I can't wait to come back and stay again.||||Mahalo.

We had a perfect stay here. First we got a nice and warm welcome in this very clean house. Once booked you are the only guest, and the owners do everything to make your stay perfect. Once arrived in the cosy room, you'll feel like home. No pre made stuff for breakfast here, instead everything is made fresh. A place to remember, and come back when in you're in the region.
