Extremely disappointing and discriminatory experience.

My friends and I had a truly upsetting experience at this nightclub. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with blatant disrespect. While we were patiently waiting outside, the bouncers repeatedly claimed we “weren’t in line”, even as they let others who arrived after us go in. Strangely enough, the groups admitted before and after us were predominantly white, while we are a group of women of colour. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but the pattern was hard to ignore.

Once inside, we were minding our own business. As is typical in clubs, men approached us — most of whom we weren’t interested in entertaining. At one point, I was sitting at a table talking to a man who gave off a creepy vibe, so I got up to leave and return to my friends. Before I even left the table, security came up to me and claimed I was “too drunk.” I was completely sober. My friends were just as confused, and we calmly explained the situation — yet we were completely ignored.

To make matters worse, the man at the table had the audacity to tell me, “If you come home with me, you can stay.” I told this to the security and bouncers, yet they continued to escort me out without a word. Meanwhile, all around us were people clearly intoxicated — stumbling, falling — and none of them were asked to leave. They were, however, white. The man at the table who made the disgusting comment was not escorted out.

As we were being forced out, the bouncers acted as if our small group of 5’4” women were being aggressive, when we were simply trying to understand what was happening. It felt performative and demeaning — like they were trying to create a scene.

Having worked in nightclubs before, I know the difference between a venue that values its guests and one that targets certain patrons unfairly. This place clearly falls into the latter. There are several other reviews here on Google of people who have experienced something similar. I’ll never return, and I urge others — especially women/people of colour — to think twice before supporting a place that treats guests this way.

Attached is a photo of the two bouncers who were particularly disrespectful. I hope no one else has to go through what we did.

The vibe at Isabelle Club was decent overall. The music and DJ were good and kept the energy up throughout the night. However, I was a bit disappointed by the cocktail selection—it was quite limited, which was unexpected for a place like this. If you’re going for the music and atmosphere, it’s worth checking out, but if you’re a cocktail lover, it might not fully hit the mark.

Club is crowded and really hot, music selection was good. Bathroom lines really long and bathroom was really dirty. Male staff inside with the tattoos needs to get off his high horse and learn respect! The security at the door Donny was amazing and the female security at cover with tattoos very well mannered and respectful those two were my highlights of this club. Would go back believe in the potential.

Hard to dance. It felt like they were just packing people in so there was barely any room to move around let alone dance. The music wasn’t too bad when we went. Maybe the booths would have been better but we came to dance and not lounge around.

Honestly, I never leave reviews, but this experience was so frustrating I couldn’t just let it slide.

I came to Toronto from out of town with a few friends, looking to have a good night. We were excited to check this place out but from the minute we got to the door, things went downhill fast.

I had my passport on me as ID (it’s literally one of the most official forms of ID you can carry, but because the photo was a bit older and I look a little different now, the bouncers wouldn’t let me in. Fine, I get it you want to be cautious. But the way they handled it was just plain rude and unprofessional.

They didn’t even try to check the rest of the info. No questions, no second look. Just attitude. Talking down to me, laughing, acting like I was trying to pull something shady even though I was completely polite and calm. It felt more like a power trip than actual security.

I wasn’t underage. I wasn’t drunk. I had legal ID. And instead of treating me like a guest, they acted like I was some problem they couldn’t be bothered with. Not cool.

We ended up going to a different club nearby and had a way better time the staff there were actually respectful and professional.

Won’t be coming back here. If you’re visiting from out of town, I’d suggest you don’t bother there are better spots in Toronto that don’t treat you like garbage at the door.

Had a great experience thanks to Bianca, the amazing server assistant who helped with our booth! She was attentive, made sure we always had water, and even assisted me to the bathroom when I needed help. Super friendly and helpful—she really made the night more enjoyable. Definitely coming back again!

Music was alright, people were fun, bouncers super chill, bartenders are very nice, really cute staff (Asha is amazing). Went last week, still waiting for her to text back. Drinks way too expensive

My friends and I had an extremely disappointing experience at this club. One of our friends was a bit tipsy early on, but she was completely fine later, dancing, having fun, and not bothering anyone. Out of nowhere, a staff member decided to target her, claiming she was “too intoxicated,” even though she was coherent, responsive, and clearly in control.

Despite calmly explaining the situation and even offering to have her do any kind of sobriety test, the staff wouldn't listen. The security guard told us we could wait outside for 30 minutes and then come back in, which we did, but when we tried, we were told by other guards that we were now banned from re-entry altogether.

Even though we still had the club's stamp on our wrists, they refused to let us in. One security guard seemed like he might help, but only if we paid again, which was extremely frustrating and felt unfair.

Throughout this whole ordeal, the staff were rude, dismissive, and even yelled at us. We were polite and tried to de-escalate the situation, but they showed no professionalism or willingness to understand.

None of us caused any trouble or ruined anyone's night, yet ours was completely ruined by the staff’s behavior and poor judgment. We won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.
