A Hidden Gem in White Rock

Island Café is a lovely, welcoming spot that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with friendly service and a peaceful atmosphere. The café offers plenty of seating options, making it a great place to relax, work, or catch up with a friend.

We ordered breakfast sandwiches and pastries, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The coffee was excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care.

One added bonus: easy and convenient parking, which is always appreciated in White Rock.

This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Island Café is well worth a visit.

One of my favourite cafes to visit when I'm in the area. Such a friendly, welcoming environment. Great-tasting coffee and delicious acai bowls. I also love all of the decor - definitely gives it a different vibe than a generic chain coffee shop!

Island Cafe in White Rock serves up an incredible breakfast, and the Big Kahuna sandwich is a must-try. The flavors are bold, the ingredients fresh, and the portion is generous. The Big Island Smoothie is the perfect refreshing complement. A fantastic spot for a laid-back, delicious start to the day!

Very beautiful cafe with a nice tropical vibe and design with attention to the details.
But whatever they sell as Chocolate Lava is, honestly, undrinkable. Extremely sweet bland milk with a hint of some cheap chocolate powder. Hands down the worst hot chocolate I've ever tasted, had to throw the whole cup.
Please, change this item in the menu, i don't know who would drink that.

I used to love Island's cafe, and I have gone there probably 25+ times with friends and family. That being said, I had one of the worst deliveries possible today. I don't typically leave reviews, but it was that bad.

I ordered a smoothie bowl with protein powder (~$20 on Doordash) and it was significantly underfilled. To hide the lack of smoothie, they had dumped large amounts of granola. Even worse, I found a hair in the smoothie bowl. I know it was not my own hair, because it was coarse and short (like beard hair) and I was wearing a bonnet/hair cover.

I would no longer recommend Island's cafe to anyone. There are major quality inconsistencies that are not worth the price.

Great cafe for studying, conversing, or hanging out! Outlets and wifi available. Lots of unique drinks to try and a very fun upbeat atmosphere. Looking forward to trying more drinks!
