My husband and I just stayed here for one night during our honeymoon. The only issue is that we didn’t book more nights!! This house oozes calmness and happiness. You can tell the immense joy that went into curating all the details in this house. I couldn’t believe it myself. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was absolutely stunning and relaxing. We felt like royalty for a night!
Tara really goes above and beyond for each one of her guests. Even baking fresh chocolate chip cookies for anyone to enjoy. Extra toiletries available for free use, A binder with the history and pictures throughout the renovation process, local recommendations, a branded tote bag to take home, partnering with local businesses in cool ways (artisan locally made soaps and bath bomb, And quite possibly the sweetest detail of all- a personalized thank you card from her daughter- Ivy, who inspired the whole thing.
THANK YOU for having us. I’ll never forget the level of hospitality and we will most definitely be back.

My fiancé and I stayed here after he proposed in Blue Rocks. We stayed in the Park View Suite. Ivy House was everything and more for us! It has everything you need in the coffee bar by the hallway and all decor and details were beautiful. Celebrating our engagement here felt like it was meant to be as the suite even had our favourite local artists artwork of Blue Rocks! You truly can’t stay anywhere else in Lunenburg after staying here. We walked the town in the morning and didn’t even have to move our car as the Inn is so central. We will be returning for our honeymoon in the honeymoon suite 🙂 Thank you Ivy house for the memories we will never forget !!!

This apartment was beautifully decorated with a large bathroom and small sitting area. In the hall was a fridge and microwave with tea/coffee/drinks/cookies etc. In the centre of Lunenburg, very easy to park. On the expensive side, but worth the price.

We won’t stay anywhere else in Lunenburg after staying at this beautiful “home-tel”. Don’t let the description put you off, this isn’t a dusty old b&b, the Ivy House is a modern, romantic, perfect place to stay in the heart of Lunenburg.

The design of the suites is perfect, the shared “hallway cafe” is perfect, the personal touches are perfect. Just a wonderful place to have a night away with your loved one.

The house itself is so beautiful. Simple and classy design with all the modern amenities you could want. Very comfortable sleep and overall relaxing stay.
The location is central to everything in town, a great base for exploring Lunenburg.
Tara is very available and incredibly helpful. She takes a lot of pride in her home and is always happy to help with anything you need! Would absolutely recommend staying here.

We stayed for 3 nights in room number one, the honeymoon suite and it was perfect! The room was huge with a lovely king size bed, and the softest bed linens ever. The room also featured a lovely stand alone bathtub, which we made use of once we had purchased some bath salts from ‘Seek’ using the complimentary gift card left to us by Tara the owner of the Ivy House. |There is also a separate bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and the coolest sink you will find in any hotel anywhere. |Just outside the room is a really nice area, featuring a large fridge stocked with complimentary water, ice tea and soda, There is also a Nespresso machine, kettle and microwave, the perfect place for your morning coffee. |The attention to detail and little extra’s at the Ivy House are very impressive, from the complimentary tote bag to the dried eucalyptus in the shower, all these things add to the exceptional experience.|The location is also perfect, with everything Lunenburg has to offer within walking distance, and there is ample free parking available all around the Ivy House. |It is very hard to convey just how beautifully decorated and lovingly restored the Ivy House is, but I cannot understand anyone wanting to stay anywhere else in Lunenburg as perfection is hard to beat.

Beautiful location for experiencing Lunenburg. The room was decorated nicely and well appointed. Nice coffee bar with juice and water available. We would stay again if back in the area.
