Jack's Bar and Kitchen is an absolute gem! From being greeted with warm smiles and friendly banter from the staff. The service was impeccable, and the young lady who served me was a standout – knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Her friendly demeanor made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
The star of the show, however, was the food and drink. The chicken wings were a revelation – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and boasting a flavour profile that was simply irresistible. And let's not forget the $5 beers, which were the perfect complement to the delicious food.
With its fantastic staff, incredible value, and mouthwatering menu, Jack's Bar and Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great time and even better food. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings.

The food was great but the service was terrible despite only 9 people being there and two waitresses. They only brought one drink and when we asked where the other one was it took about 5-10min before someone came to tell us we had to choose another drink. By the time we got the second drink we were half way through our meal basically. Before the new owners took over it was a great place but it seems like the standards are slipping hard.

I gave them a 3 because I want to both give them a 1-star and a 5-star rating at the same time. Let me explain.

I want to give them 5-stars cause it's a great place. Nice and open space, both times I've gone in the staff are awesome. So nice and polite. Their service is top notch, which is something I care about because service is getting worse most places. Not here.

But I want to give them a 1-star because they did something so crazy I've never seen it before. I ordered a steak, and when it was brought to me it had been cut open.

For anyone who cooks steak regularly you know that it needs to rest at least 5 min before you cut it.

I assume the cook cut it open to see if it was cooked how I wanted (rare). But to me that tells me the cook is extremely inexperienced. You should know how long to cook each side depending on how the customer orders it.

Never had a steak served to me cut open. I don't think I'll order food again if the cook is that silly or inexperienced.

Took our family for dinner tonight. Food was fantastic and prices where pretty good too. Service was great, the guy working was very friendly and seemed happy to be there. We will definitely be coming back!

the place is pretty lowkey despite the area its in, it never seems to be very busy

for example superbowl lix there was less than fifteen guests that i observed

the service once we stopped eating the waitress stopped checking in on us even though our cups were empty, had to wave then over, and again it wasnt that busy with not much people there last night

also they seem to have technical difficulties with the TV, they didnt even have the right channel playing the superbowl until someone pointed it out

it was fun playing pool and they provide the coins for the machine, and add it to your bill

Hands down the absolute best pizza in Edmonton!!
Came in for the first time and ordered a triple crown (left side pic) as a courtesy first time customer they made us a Quattro Formaggi authentic Italian pizza to try !! Outstanding!
If you’re looking for a nice place to play a game of cards with a group of friends, watch a game or a fight or perhaps a game of pool. I would highly recommend. Great atmosphere and superb customer service, very good pricing!!

Was an ok spot. My wife n I were looking for a quick spot to eat n watch the oilers game. Tv"s were ok enough angles for big crowds. The deals were tempting to 11$ burgers on Thursdays!! My wife tried the Italian panini, which was ok, very messy, tho. I i tried the Nachos but was very disappointed. I asked if their was enough cheese, and he reassured there was, but unfortunately, they put so much the underlayer was cold. I asked to sprinkle some more cheese in between n throw it back in. Instead, they just tossed more cheese on top and had the same outcome. I wanted to complain but was just not in the mood to lol. Probably won't come back
