Separate from the restaurant is a cafe, and this experience relates to that part. Desperate for caffeine, I found this cafe, but it was only desperation that prompted my purchase. It was staffed by one person only, who had to run the cash and make the drinks; thankfully it was not too busy. The baked goods were few and unappealing, but the drink was good. The general atmosphere was dark and dingy. Parking options were limited. Perhaps earlier in the day it's a different experience, but I will not be returning to find out.

The food was edible, but not very tasty. The omelette was firm, the "soft eggs" I asked for on my eggs Benedict were rubbery and firm. the potatoes were okay.

JR and staff create such a warm community atmosphere which helped me so much with being new to the area. Also best carrot cake I ever had - absolutely delicious!!!

Love this place! Best sushi in Langford. Lovely and chill for post-daycare dinner out midweek. Good veggie burgers. The creme brulee is must!
