We were in Yarmouth for a couple of days, and got to try some really interesting local delicacies including Rappie Pie and Donair in a couple of different forms - on a pizza, and as a poutine topping!

Friendly, fresh, family restaurant. I had the small fattoush salad with chicken. It was delicious and bigger than I expected. My husband had the haddock and fries, which were also very good. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

I looked over several of the past reviews. Many said good place, some said not. Decided to make my own decision about the place, as today was the last day I would be able to have anything Donair related. Lol. I decided to have the Nachos, with donair meat. WOW! Did I make the right choice! AMAZINGLY delicious! The right spiciness and flavor! The young girl at the ordering counter was very nice, and took my order promptly. Now, I do agree, with another posted, that the A/C was blowing rather cold, but I think it might have been the table I chose as well. I would recommend this little restaurant to anyone visiting in the Yarmouth area. Oh, yeah the price was very appropriate for the amount of food I received. 😁

Very friendly family owned restaurant. Food was good, service friendly, and everything was efficient most people appeal to be takeout. We sat in and watched people come and go. Seemed like lots of repeat customers.

I had the scallops and fries, I would say slightly better than average but worth the price.

A friendly family-owned restaurant. The staff were helpful and warm. The prices are very reasonable.

The food was ok. We ordered a salad that wasn’t fresh. I got the scallop burger, which was pretty good. My partner got the falafel sandwich, and she was not enthused by it.

I stopped in at Jake's after being in Yarmouth area for some time and trying the local pizza seen as pizza etc is one of my favorite things. I love panzerrotti and was pleasantly surprised. Jake's though was a bit smaller than other places it was well done and the presentation was stellar even if it was baked and not deep fried. it was great and a nice treat well worth the visit.. and the staff was friendly and professional. Great job to the cooks & staff. I will be visiting again. Cheers

My husband went there and ordered the Big J burger. He said the person at the till explained that the meat spills out beyond the bun and comes with bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese, as well as the regular condiments, so he said he couldn’t resist. Person taking the order was friendly and had a good sense of humour, as was the person cooking the meal. We are from Alberta so it’s kind of odd that you won’t ever get a burger this size (7 1/2 inches in diameter) for this price in the heart of beef country. It was ridiculous. The only suggestion would be, because there is so much beef in this burger, is that it should be seasoned just a bit more.
